Thats because you didnt disable script44erm and ert. Well, after Quintus join, look around. Many things are hidden. Events are giving hints. There are always open ways. No reason to be stuck. But map is hard, I agree. I wanted it to be. Play from the save I posted below and you will not get errors.

PS: wivern island is NOT empty. Look better.

If after crossing blue border guard I can't defeat neither 50K Energy Elementals nor 23K Pit Lords, does it mean I'm too late?

The script which give creatures on the map 10%-30% growth each week is activated. If you meet 50k energy elementals and 23k pitlords that means you are way too late. The pitlords must be killed by 3rd month.

But don't be afraid by large stacks. You have an option in dark tower which clones your creatures; utilise the clone to strike first (so the pitlords retaliate) then strike with all others. Utilise the clones of centurions to lure the pitlords far away from your hoplites.

"The Pacifist" (user in this forum) who was so kind to test my map sent me this screen. He killed 500k azure dragons in this map with only 3000 hoplites/ammocart/1 archimage (for spell reduction) and 1 praetorian (for first cast) and berserk/force field.



Dont underestimate the power of permanent fire shield. Large stacks will lose tons of their creatures when attacking a fire shield protected creature.

I'll have to restart the map (using your save maybe?) and once I maped out the way I try to complete it two times faster

It is only an example of what can be done if you are smart. So 23k pitlords still scare you?

With the help of cloning Praetorians now I'm able to win all the battles flawlessly, asuming I can win them at all.

I sailed around and took purple tent, but what to do next? Even editor doesn't show the way. I guess I should be heading towards AB if I knew the way
Sorry for asking for advice over and over again, but this map is just too cool and too compliated

For some reason I can't reach Portal of Glory at 84,25,1 even though there should be a path.

Well, I assume you have water walk and summon boat from now. If you cant reach an object, try them... You don't have to look into the editor to see the path. Just check all places from where you can sail or water walk. You will find.

PS: don't think that when you see "ground" it is always ground. The map editor offers unlimited possibilities to place a terrain on another one.It is not WOG related. Just basic map making.

Very well, I made some progress. I already killed Boragus and cleared the water area covered with clouds and harpies. From now on there are just too many ways to choose Especially if it's already month 9 and I need to get Hat quite soon.

Took black tent. I tried to reach end of the world, but when I do so some weird errors show up. I can't use caves to reach the home. I tried the one next to Highcastle, it's even labeled as "cave" so I assume this should be the right one.

I believe populated areas are quite unbalanced, in fact sieges of Fortresses were much more challenging than Tower and Stronghold, in fact I spent ~three weeks gathering the troops before that

There is a syntax popup error after defeating the ocean bottle. I dont know why, just click on it, it doesnt affect the game. Once you defeat the ocean bottle, casting water walk to the cave will lead you to 8 caves teleporters. The scholar in front of Rome advertised that fortress will be very difficult. However if you block the rampart with heavy cavalty and you have an amo cart, things will be much easier than tower, which has titans.

If you want to finish the map, you have to kill everything on surface by month 6. Month 7 you have to start underground. If you feel map is too hard, just disable time limit and have fun.

New version of the map is on the way: customized events, help scripts,  many area improved, hidden artefacts and events, repaired some wholes which allows you to do things I didnt want to.

I don't get it. Which cave? The ones guarded by quests above the Conflux? They still work normally.

I can't click the bottle once I defeat the guards.

And disabling time limit is quite daunting after two days of gameplay

Once you defeat the ocean bottle a shrine will appear at 17/63. Cast water walk and touch it. Touching the shrine will change the passability for the cave at 21/59. Once you reach the cave, have fun, as it leads to 8 other caves full of creatures to join you.

I understand you cant disable after 2 days of gaming. But game will be over in 3 months and I dont see how you can do it if you didnt take yet "Maximus" home". You need about 5-6 months to defeat the underground

So the map can't be finished before month 12 and has strict time limit of 12 months? Quite demanding.

Is this Spellbinders Hat I could see from the boat useless then?

Anyway, I feel myself lost in the underground. There is only Suza-Tal (not really attractive) and Aenain I can't reach so far. How to break the next quest guards then?

Map can be finished in 9 months if you play well. For that you must use secondary heros to collect ressources while Maximus open the quests and kills the IA.

For you problem I dont know where you are in the story. The path is: kill fortress, then wizards, the barbarians. Take the boat, Gunnar attacks. Kill Gunnar, a lot of quests active. Once you killed Gunnar you can visit the red tent behind your first tower town. Then you can sail from your conflux town, pass the red gate, and kill the phoenixes north. That actives Boragus. Once you killed the phoenixes you takes the "caves" (8 of them) north from your conflux. You have to cast water walk to reach them. Then you have the elixir of life quest. ETC... ask again if you are stuck after the elixir of life, but usually when you kill a major IA Boss, a cave opens and let you go next. Good luck

While I was playing Chronic Peripeteia for H4 it also took me three trials to complete the map, so maybe that's the case

Anyway, how to disable this script44?

I am confused on what you are doing: Sir Mullich Cant show up if you didnt complete elixire of life quest. It is linear. Do you use fly and explore the map in that way?

To disable script44erm and ert all you need is to rename them. They are in Heroes3/Data/s . Once the map is done you backup them.

All I did since then was taking Maximus' Home and sailing to Aenain (wrong choice). He probably spawned when I was on his island, though can't tell you exactly because of the darkness.
No cheating involved

Yeah, that was corrected in last version. Now you can't take the dark tent before very late game.

I guess they were bored with spears.

Romans had only archers as shooters. And in game I had to find 2 kind of shooters, one for second level, one for 4th level, so I had to improvise.
