Hey I just noticed that this map and the 4th one are missing from maps4heroes.com. They were there a few days ago. Anyone know why?

Salamandre had to delete them because he had an argument with the creator of ERA, Berserker, about the compatibility of his maps and other mods, Salamandre had no choice but to remove all his maps and leave his future and that of his content of WoG/ERA to our imagination.

..also Evgeny updated WoG/ERA to Magician, Warrior and Master (HOTA). Facepalm, ok I said remove it. Today, you can download Magician, Warrior and Master (WOG/ERA II). Sal said if no scripts, HOTA is better. Then WoG/ERA II with scripts beat the HOTA. I said later on another map. I haven't HOTA, so later on I update Magician, Warrior and Master (HOTA). Because too failed. Magician, Warrior and Master (HOTA) has downloaded 14k times. FACEPALMED! Now's 50 (WoG/ERA II). Too poor.

still good
i had to reinstall all homm3 to be able to play this scenario again after many years.
so its still playable if u install era 2.46.
what to say? its top 10 wog.
i dont like to hear that salamandre's wog maps r not compactible with newer versions of era.
guy made so much for this comunity and was always willing to help and share.

by the way i'm 11-2-4 and in front of comodus home who is waiting me with 10k or more of all stacks wearing recanter's coat

TEW 3 was updated for Era 3

Added to the package Overflow mod, as it is basically necessary to complete the map. Fixed some scripts to work with the new syntax. Removed one ugly bush too.

Because you don't use Era 3 but some weird package including a lot of preinstalled mods, therefore it can't work.

I using era 3.9 , loaded tew iii.dat when start game. What wrong i do

Era III is HERE, see download link at the bottom of first post.
You use an assembly which contains Era 3 but also many other mods. Which finally screw everything in my maps, but already been there...

Hi! I've made an account just for this post.
I've been trying to install and play TEW 3 for a couple of days now with no success, possible due to so much conflicting information of what to use/download. for example in here you linked Era 3.0.2 and on the WoG website it says to use 3.9 Era. also in the download theres a link to a google drive of the mods you're supposedly using but only some of them are there and they seem very outdated.
Can there be a simple "download this this and this and install it like that and play?" rather than going from obscure forums/posts to try and figure out what to do.. even the WoG youtube video that was uploaded recently BY WoG wasnt installed correctly according to the description lol.

Read post just above, it gives link to Era 3. Download it and install over Heroes complete edition/SoD and thats all.
Mods from the link specified in the text file coming with TEW3 are optional, not required to play the map. And they are not outdated, until now I always updated them if there was some problem.

Yeah but that's Era 3.0.2 not 3.9 like it said in the recent post on WoG website.. that's conflicting information. and in your google drive theres only some of the mods in the readme and some of them just uploaded twice for some reason

When I wrote the readme, Era 3.02 was the latest. That doesn't mean you need ONLY 3.02, take the latest from Era3 thread (link at bottom - ERA X). As for additional mods, get the ones you find on my Gdrive, if you want - as I said they are optional. The ones uploaded twice (I only saw now that you said it, it is probably error from my browser), don't pay attention, get any.

SO I shouldn't download the mods that aren't in the drive? like turbo wog, morn battlefields, yona etc? or its safe to download them from their original thread? had some problem with loading tew 3 bat aswell, will try again and see if I can fix it

Maximus stuck in garrison/gate
Hey I have a problem, that Maximus is stuck in the garrison/gate that leads down to the valley of endless gems, making me unable to pass through it. Therefore I'm stuck, did I do something wrong, or is it bugged? It's like it just duplicated my hero, but I can't control the one stuck in the garrison..

Hey, yeah I did that, did some other things first and then it didn't happen again the next time. But the same thing happened on the gate right next to the first tower city, again at a event by the last swamp castle of the 3, where you fight all the gorgons, but these I've tried everything to avoid it from happening, ending the fight with quick combat, fighting it out normally and so on. But can't seem to get around. Also the gorgon fight made my game crash countless times and when it didn't it again spawned a copy of my hero, that I couldn't move. So I tried leaving and hoping it magically won't be a problem once I actually have to proceed through there.
Now comes my biggest problem so far, and that is when I'm trying to open the dark blue quest gate, there's an event right before that crashes the game 100% of the time. No clue what's causing it.. Tried having both the display events enabled and disabled, without any luck.
Any chance you have an idea of how to fix this? I can also try and send you some of the logs if that would help locate what's wrong.
I'm sorry to come with all my issues, it's just one of the greatest maps I've ever played, so I would love to finish it!

Looks like you are using Era assembly and not clean Era. Can you write here the list of active mods? Or upload a screenshot.
