DG: I remember Dove. I hope I didn't give too bad advice back then. 
Do you trust her? If you don't you then should ask yourself if you forgave her for the right reasons but I think you did the right choice. Relationships are like roses:
At first they look beautiful but when you try to get close enough to smell them the spikes will hurt you but if you get past them the scent will be worth all the trouble along the way.
There will be more Doves and doubts for both of you. What matters is how you handle them,
Mythical: Jealousy can do that kill effect but most often they regret it later.

I prefer my approach over clinging desperately to the same person, even after all the feelings are gone, "because it may sparkle again" or "because love needs understanding and blahblahblah". My approach is simple to the core: "If it doesn't work, then it doesn't work!"

I recently came across a funny method of making up your mind about a gf (found in a military/spy thriller book by Tom CLancy but meh)
Imagine both of you were sitting in a sandbox for 24 hours.
Would you build sandcastles? play a game of battleships? drawing contest? do anything besides sex? If yes, you can think of going stable.
sounds silly but maybe it has something in it

She flipping chose me and I feel like going out and kiss any random stranger on the cheeks and sing some random jolly song. I think that's pretty close to love, but I'm a kid so I don't know, but I don't care, so who else cares?
