I've recently installed Equilibris v. 3.51. It all works well, except that my autosave doesn't work. I receive the message "Autosave failed" at the start of each new turn. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

I'm sorry for the double post, but I have another question too.
Sometimes when I'm playing, something strange will happen. You know how when you visit a town or click on a group of units and it brings up the screen with the stats at the top, the picture in the middle, and then the two rows of 7 bubbles, the top row showing the current group and the bottom row being where you form a new group? Sometimes that bottom row just doesn't show up, and I'm stuck with just one row of creatures, unable to make new groups out of them. It will happen in towns sometimes too, so my garrison will be stuck inside the town, unable to leave. Does any of that make sense? Does anyone know what this is about? Thanks.

Hi there! This is my first post, so I'll start with a noob question:
I'm making a map, using the editor (RoE) but here's something I can't figure out: Even when I'm placing a town right next to water, in danger of falling in, when in game I check whether the shipyard is buildable I'm reading: 'this town is not near water'. What's up? In the editor I've clearly got the shipyard checked as enabled!
Edit: Sorry, wrong thread, I need to be in Heroes III!

5 classes x 4 skills x 5 grades = 100 slots
Not likely to fill them all unless you play some hardcore map like Chronic Peripetia

hey i was asking about skill slots
In H3 was 8 skill slots in h5 there is 6 skill slots(primary)
and in h4 i understand that there are 4 skill slots am i right

As far as I know 5 does not equal 4.

thats the problem because i haven't got it.(i played it about 3 or 4 years ago) And i am thinking about buying it.
Thats why i am asking
So for example you can have Tactics, nobility, Light, order, Scouting and its secondaies yes

There are no combo artifacts, strictly speaking, but - just like in Heroes V - if you are wearing certain sets of artifacts, you'll receive some bonuses. These sets are only in the Gathering Storm, though.

Hello Im an old player of homm4 and recently i accidentally found my old CD of homm4 and decided to install it in my new pc but instalation failed: Its written that this game is just for Russian market and i cant use it  I dont live in Russia but not far from it and i bought this game in my country also hadnt such problem on my old pc...so i would really appreciate your help

I just found my old Heroes 4 Complete like Frank5... The installation worked as it should, i did open the map editor as the first thing (Cuz heroes 4 have the best map editor of all heroes games), i created a campaign (Took me lots of hours)..
But i can't play the stupid game! Whenever i press the exe file, it goes bluescreen..
Is that because i have Windows Vista? or is it something else?
ALC: Jeg ved mit engelsk ikk er så godt som det burde være, men jeg er elektriker, så hva ka man forvendte?
Når jeg trykker på exe filen, går den i blå slærm (der hvor windows bare lukker) Så hvorfor ka jeg spille Heroes 3 som er ældre en heroes 4?

Hey guys,
I'm having a horrible time trying to find out how to play hotseat multiplayer. In Civ 4 its so easy in this game its seems non-existent.
How do you set up a Hotseat 2 player game in Heroes 4?
