Thats not an valid argument.'
But this site is for a heroes game so im not very surpised because of the hate. If HC suddenly stormed the WoW forums then they would get so flammed and hated that 10,000 kittens would die.

Who cares. You're the one that made this topic so you can't expect everyone to like it. Sure, a lot of us like HOMM but that doesn't mean that we hate every other game. It's just that each one of us have expressed our opinion of the game countless times and all you do is provide silly arguments against them and then you hardly listen to a thing the other people say. I saw someone say that you are brainwashed, and I agree.

That was what I just said
I just said that I did not except people to love WoW on a HOMM turn-based RTS forum.
And it was orginally meant that the thread should discuss about ALL MMOs and not just about WoW

My point was that even though this is a HOMM site, people may like it but don't get mad if people disagree with you. You have asked peoples opinions and they give them and then you disregard most of what they say and carry on pointless discussions. And I think you knew quite well that WoW was going to be discussed a lot

No, I didnt.
I just took WoW as an example in my first post since I play that game. But it was obvious that it would turn into a WoW thread anyway, since WoW is the game that still is number one on todays game market.
So all those that still play H3 are addicts?

No. The whole point of this thread is to praise WoW and look down upon the naysayers who dare disagree that it isn't the greatest game ever made. The only reason it seems the other MMOs were tacked on was to avoid yet another overt "Xerox loves World of Warcraft" thread.

Alright, let me spell this out for you:
WoW was not fun for me. It was at the start, but errant glitches, bad players, sloppy area design killed my excitement around the time I hit level 30.
I am not going to slap at you that you are an addict, but at the very least, I'd rather have a discussion with mvass about economy, then talk this further come to think of it...

with level design I mean a certain fortress where NPC's respawned everywhere, which gives me jaded and hateful feelings to the fact I ever picked a warlock character

I found also those excuses lame except the area design, but that depends on what you mean.
For instance, I hate that every single zone in the entire game is surroanded by either sea or a huge mountain chain.
It also looks weird with the sudden terrain change in some places.
For example, between the Durotar and The Barrens zone there is the Southfury River.
If you are in the Barrens and look at Durotar from across the river, it looks retarded.
Durotar is all rocky, red and looks like Mars while the Barrens is yellow with lots of savannas and grass etc.
Also the graveyard thing sucks. When raiding Stormwind you have to corpse run in 15 min if you die.
I understand that of course all people dont like MMOs, but there is no excuse to say "I just hate that game because Xerox plays it and it just sucks" - then you dont tell people what you think was bad about it.
NPCs respawn in all MMO games Even in HoMM5.
Would it be fun if you had done all quests in Ashenvale and suddenly when you returned, there was not a single Naga, Bear or Wolf there
Or for instance, you did a dungeon once and you can never, ever do it again because there is no respawning mechanic.

spell characters still have a melee penalty... So if they respawn in front of your nose, you're F'ed.

What? Who's that silly to make the enemy respawn when you're there at the place? I thought the logical way would be to make them respawn after you get out or at least don't see them... sheesh.

But you said you were a Warlock
Warlocks have minions to tank, warlocks have soulstones to ressuect themself, Warlocks can drain life, Warlocks can sacrifice health for mana and they have healthstones.
Druids can just shadowmeld if they are Night Elves or shift into bearform, making there survivability very high.
Mages have plently of escape options such as Blink, Teleport spells, Frost Nova, Cone of Cold, Mana Shield, Ice Block, Ice Barrier, Cold Snap etc.
Priests can heal themself and fear everybody.
And it is very rare that mobs respawn on you, most of the times you are likely to have completed your business in the area before they respawn.
As Darkshadow said, every class have some kind of "Oh snow!" button. Plus if you think mobs respawn to fast then you can always report to Blizzard about the issue.
