Mehh, CGI crap everywhere. I am really starting to hate CGI as most movie now look like cartoons and are using it in places that are not needed.
Watched Whiplash. Not a fan of the movie, to slow, with very little happening + a lot of music that I dont like.
Also saw Birdman. Very interesting and unique. Generally like it.
A new season of vikings started, now on episode 2. Its ok for now.
Finished watching first season of new star wars rebels cartoon. Its below average, and only few last episodes are somewhat good. But it's generally bad as starting seasons of clone wars. Hope it will turn out good later as clone wars did when it become more dark in last few seasons.

I know, quoted an old post, but:
Based on RT reviews and some superlative statements here, I popped this (John Wick) up to the top of my Netflix queue.
The movie does have quite a bit of style and - after a snoozer of a start - it did deliver entertainment. But, it had almost no substance at all, the action was far too video-gamey, the villain was throwaway, and I didn't buy the level of invincibility of the hero, particularly as played by Keanu Reeves. If you think this is as good as the original Die Hard, then you don't understand what made (and continues to make) that movie so great. It's an above average action movie due solely to its style, but based on the ultimate litmus test for action movies (would I watch it again?), I'd say it fails.
My rating: B-

I'd say, that's way too generous. B- would be an average Jason Statham movie (recent example would be Wild Card, which had style and atmosphere without overblowing it) and they are far better than John Wick.

Yeah, that's a fair point. The Jason Statham movies are solid B movies. I thought about putting John Wick in the C range but I was admittedly entertained, and I did like the stylistic touches in the movie.

I wouldn't call it a b-movie. I think it had a really nice artistic wipe, I liked. And I was supriced how well Keanu Reeves did.. He is a great actor, when he does not say that much.
I watched Big Hero 6 yesterday. I really fun and loveable movie. But in the end it was very predictable, and there was not anything special about the movie.. But as I said I enjoyed it.

It's about a bunch of people going into the catacombs in Paris. A horror film but the horror elemeents were very predictable and quite boring. There's a fun twist to it though and actually some depth. 6 / 10
Wild.
It's about a girl with a lot of problems walking a lot. It was beautifully shot but I just couldn't get myself to get care about this girl or her journey. 6 / 10

Birdman
A very weird black satirical comedy about a former superhero actor who is trapped in that role and trying to become a more serious name in the theater. It was shot in an interesting fashion, but the content didn't entirely open up to me. It felt like you have to be working in the movie/theater industry to get it.
Overall it didn't resonate with me perfectly, but I am giving it 3,5 stars because of it's unique movie structure, storyline and dialogue.

Funny, I watched Birdman just yesterday. It's kind of a theater movie, which was the intention I believe. It's probably nothing you'll remember in 10 years but it's still quite good in many areas.
