A knight is sworn to valor. His heart knows only virtue. His blade defends the weak. Upholds the innocent. His wrath undoes the wicked.

Fantasy films of now could take some cues from DragonHeart. Dennis Quaid as Bowen, Sean Connery as Draco, Dina Meyer as Kara, Pete Postlethwaite as the comical Brother Gilbert,  and David Thewlis who played the villainous King Einon all did well. And a good original story.

It wasn't the best ever, but it kind of felt like what 90's Game of Thrones would've been.

Bowen: I no longer try to change the world, dragon, I just try to get by in it.

Draco: Yes, well, it's better than death, I suppose.

Bowen: Oh, is it? I should think you'd welcome death. You know, the last of your kind, all of your friends dead, hunted wherever you go...

Draco: Do you delight in reminding me? Yes, knight, I do long for death, but, fear it.

Bowen: Why? Aside from your misery, what's to lose?

Draco: My soul.

re The Martian, the science was actually really tight for that.
-Minion already pointed out that the sandstorm wouldn't have been able to topple the rocket.
-The movie doesn't depict Martian gravity but that wouldn't have changed the plot even a tiny bit.
-One more thing was overlooked though, which is that unlike Earth Mars is constantly blasted with heavy radiation.  After spending a year on Mars Matt Damon woulda died from multiple cancers no matter what, maybe even before he got back to earth.

Other than that though it was the most scientifically accurate space-based science fiction movie I can think of.

Well it did have treachery in it, but I wouldn't exactly call it Game of Thrones. GoT mostly shows the "bad" in people, and aside from the douche prince (oh wait, they have similarities ), Dragonheart mostly showed some good virtues. But it definately was a great film, even with it's shortcomings. It's probably the best "good Dragon" live-action film to date. Eragon tried it, but unfortunately it was a flop (though it still made me read the books). Watching Dragonheart as a kid made me cry so much at the end though...

Aside from that, I finally watched Star Wars (better late then never ). I mostly do not agree with the "bad" things I've heard about this movie. I rather have my own issues with it, but those aren't very heavy. Only little ones. It's a good movie, makes me wanna watch the other two when they are released. I give it an 8/10.

List of super hero movies for 2016+

It's crazy how many of this are planned. So many that I'm kind of happy The reboot of Fantastic 4 flopped, so we might not end up so overwhelmed by them.¡

I give Star Wars VII a 9/10 for the entertainment, but VIII had better get into the heart of the story

And DragonHeart was about an evil King and a Knight who wanted to get away from it all... and who was stuck in a Dragon's mouth and then befriended him. I felt something of a GoT vibe, though not only that of course. And it's a great film for me.

I'm already having a hard time on keeping track of who's-who in the Marvel universe; at least in the DC one, the number of superheroes seems small and recognizable. Personally I feel they're overdoing it, but maybe I'm just not that much interested in those superhero universes.

I like the Marvel films for the most part, except for one or two underwhelming flicks, they range from very entertaining to competent for me. Interested in the future films as well...

But I feel there are more possibilites with DC characters, actually. Some don't. But the main thing for me is that I've never found the Avengers a really dynamic team, while I felt differently about the Justice League.

And for individual heroes, I am fond of quite a few from each side and read some of the comics as well to get a bigger picture.

Avengers: Infinity War has a board of 67 characters to work with. So yes, you aren't alone in this cold world ^^

DC is going to introduce a lot of characters from Batman vs Superman included. They aren't that far behind.

I do agree they're overdoing them, and it's already affecting the quality of them. I can only hope they don't screw up Civil War, Dr. Strange, Guardians 2 and the new Batman movie. I assume Deadpool is going to be great, because all the marketing has been awesome -  trailers included

Deadpool is from Fox. Now that Sony conceded Spider-Man more or less, Fox are the "third position"

And I wonder what will their next X-Men film bring, seeing as how F4 was a failure.

They've had three Fantastic Four movies flop in a row. That franchise is more doomed than Dr. Doom.

There's some comic book movies I'm excited about and some I'm not-so excited about. Ant-Man was a classy movie and I'm looking forward to what the next one brings. Ditto with Guardians of the Galaxy.

I'm a little fatigue with the mainstream Avengers. Age of Ultron was a big step down from The Avengers. The movies have become too character saturated. This is what happened with the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean. It was just this endless stream of different characters that moved through the movie at a manic pace. I mean, I'm still going to watch the new Avenger movies, but it's not something I'm excited for per se. I'll see it when I see it.

There had better be character deaths in Infinity Wars. Death and weeping and despair.

Agreed once again Blizz, especially on the "doomed" part

The second Avengers movie was not one that I was crazy about, maybe the hype had a lot to do with that, but I like Ant-Man quite a bit, and I liked Guardians of the Galaxy too.

Interesting to see what will Civil War be like, that is bound to influence the future direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A new trailer for Suicide Squad was posted yesterday and I must admit, it looks great. Definitely made me wait for August, when the movie comes out.

lol, "queen" can make anything look good. i like every bit of the trailer; except that harley doesn't have her voice(or what appears to be, her girlish qualities, which is one of the things that helped to make her character in the first place; as they contrasted well with her psychosis). and too bad, that of course, the joker is played by a cocksucking hipster douchebag. he better bring it, if he's going to be representing mr. j.

i'll give the girl playing harley a chance, since this is harley's first film debut. and *sigh*... i'll give hipster buttsnowing douchebag his day in court. he better not snow up, or i'll add his balls to my necklace.

and by the way, it's ABOUT snowING TIME HARLEY GOT SOME FILM TIME. snowing hollywood.

Holy Snow I think I agree completely with fred

I am really liking the looks of Harley Quinn, but I am not 100% sure she can deliver what I want out of that character. It reminds to be seen. But Jared Leto as a joker... is killing me. I like the actor, but as Joker??? I just have a feeling I can't accept him in that role. Although he will play a more "social" joker, so it has the possibility of working.

Excited and slightly worried at the same time for this awesomeness of a movie

Harley's character is a little over 20 years old, so she is treated quite well for a comic book character. I'm still getting used to her voice not being so squeaky, but this isn't anything major.

Speaking of Leto's Joker - I don't know where all these complaints come from. Yes, he looks different from other incarnations, but judging from what he does in the trailer he's going to be another great take on Joker.

i feel the same way. leto's played roles i liked him in: the junkie from "requiem for a dream", the junkie from "lord of war", the guy who got his face rearranged in "fight club"... come to think of it, all of my favorite parts of him are where he's at his lowest point as a person. there's probably a subconscious reason for that...

i never did get over how he stole my girl in "my so-called life"(mtv show where i first fell in love with redheads).

lol, likely; but finding out that the actual guy behind all the acts is a hipster, is what really makes me hate the guy, personally.

Rewatched LoTR trilogy after a long while.

That was epic.

Now I'm a bit sceptic to watch the Hobbit trilogy, which IMO should've been a long 4-5 hour movie.
