I have no doubt that Spain would beat both that Brazil and that French side, the quality of their midfielders is absolutely unparalleled in football history.

Iniesta alone is enough to rival Zidane, Xavi is one of the best midfielders of all time, Alonso, Busquets and Martinez are all world-class DMs (the best of this generation imo along with Gerrard, Lamps and Schweinsteiger) and Fabregas, Mata, Silva, Cazorla are all excellent AMs.

Spain played so bad the first half - clearly missing the double pivot with XAlonso.
I hope Del Bosque make one or two changes quickly, Italy is playing so good today.
Edit: 0-0, we go to extra time
Spain slighty better on the second half, also Italy was exhausted. We'll see

Torres actually had a really good game this half, it's between him and Iker for MOTM for Spain.

Also, I like how I go on here praising Torres, and Del Bosque is all like, "Torres? Nah, I'd rather put in Martinez as a center forward. Thanks for the feedback though."

Torres had some great moves, and some questionable ones. I dunno, I bashed torres on 2010-12 'cause I thought he didn't deserve to be playing, that other strikers should be on his place. But I have to admit this last year he has improved quite a lot.
Ramos and Pique on defense, when they are on great shape they are AWESOME. With Puyol so injured we need both of them.
I was worried about Ramos, Pique and Busquets on the penalties, but they proved my fears wrong, I'm happy

Yeah, Ramos and Pique were great, I really want us to sign Ramos and Inigo Martinez and I feel our defensive problems will be completely solved. I love how much they go forward, they got so many chances on corners. And the way they take PKs...
Also, I thought it was Arbeloa taking that penalty as opposed to Busquets.

Also, Casillas was BAD on the penalties, really bad. Dunno if he was too exhausted or what, but he didn't try to stop them
