I really hope nothing's wrong with Messi, he looked so lethargic out there today. Good goal from Neymar, Sanchez played well as did Pique and Cesc, should be a cracking second leg.

It seems the bad ending of last season (remenber we was injured) + poorly planned preseason left Messi in bad form.

It would be an amazing thing for VMDF Zalgiris to make it to group stage. even though we have theoretical chances. if we get a decent rematch against that Austrian club who mauled the team 0-5.

You try playing when you're getting fouled every five seconds and have to break through two lines of four defenders. Really disappointed in how Atletico played today but glad we got the result, this was exactly the time of game we needed, to toughen us up for future encounters with such jerk teams.
Also, I'm still mad we (Arsenal) lost to Bayern on away goals, it's not just you.

That would be pretty neat, as long as we get revenge against Bayern prior to that. 7-0 is not a score that can go unavenged.

I am curious about who will Arsenal play in the group. They usually get easy groups and then face a strong opponent in the last 16 that knocked them out, that's the pattern of the last seasons...
