I thought Iniesta should have been replaced by Vidal, Xavi by Busquets, Alves by Alaba, and Neuer by De Gea or Courtois, but otherwise it was good.

To be honest, I've very little clue about this year in specific, but the midfielder and forward names are some of the best players of this generation. So I'm at least glad it's quality players.

I never understood when the goalies just stands there. I've seen times the ball hits the post and then the goalie suddenly realizes he should have went for the ball in stead of just look helplessly at it.
Though I imagine it might be fun to look at the numbers, how far should a goalie has to move, his reaction time and how fast will the ball move over a given distance? Of course there's the matter of spin, so the goalie may go to the wrong side -> goalie has to go much further, and the distance the ball has to travel also becomes shorter in principle (that is, it's equivalent to a shot from a closer distance).
I suppose wind resistance is a factor as well, but I'm not sure how much it really brakes the ball over the short distances and high speeds.
It reminds me that I once saw a youtube clip for the fastest shot ever, I couldn't even follow the ball. The odd thing though, is that the ball hits the crossbar before it goes into the net, but the goal itself is completely stationary.
I'm confident a person can tip over a goal, so when the ball hits the crossbar, how fast should it go before the goal tips over? I suppose it also has to do with the shape of the ball, how much it can be compressed and the same for the crossbar, as that may be important factors in how much energy can be transfered between the two objects (it's a hit, whereas a person performs more of a push). Still could be cool to see.
Then again, it may be they do something so the goals can't be moved without extreme force, in which case the ball would have to break the crossbar, but the crossbar is somewhat flexible, so I imagine that is very unlikely, as it allows for the energy to transfer more easily throughout the goal.
At least that's how I imagine it'd work.

Well, the first goal is impossible to stop anyways: such a bullet shot, powerful, fast and in the perfect location.

Those pictures are really cool
I agree, it's not a chance, but that's only if the shot hits within the frame. I could also imagine it could hit on the outer edges so the goalie can still get to it, but only if he goes for it.
I've e.g. seen a Man. U match where the opponents shoots, the goalie just looks at the ball, as it's outside his range, then it hits the lower side of the crossbar and hits the ground just outside the goal. The goalie rushes towards the ball when he realizes what's going on, but too late.
I think if he'd run after the ball right away, he'd have made it (or clumsily made an own goal )

Cristiano failure to do an Bicycle kick actually transform into a beautiful assist to Morata, lol

Gotta admit, those are some nice goals.
Arsenal beat Fulham 2-0, Cazorla with a nice brace. Gnabry is looking great.

Odd how the Italian league used to be the most interesting one, in my opinion with 3 favorites in the form of Juventus & Milano teams, closely followed by four or more outsiders to the title, in the form of two Rome clubs, Fiorentina and Parma. On the same time you knew there was quality in the league when weaker sides like Sampdoria, Udinese, Bologna and Napoli could attract players who're first team regulars on some of the strongest NT's in the world from top clubs in other countries.
Whereas Spain was two clubs, England 3, which then also became 2, Germany 1 and all the rest didn't have the same quality as these 4 leagues.
Now Juventus is winning year after year, superior to everyone, yet lacking very much in international competitions. In Spain some other clubs have been forward a little, but it's mainly still the same two clubs who dominate. In England there are now lots of strong clubs, though there's a definite top 3, two Manchester teams and one London team, though one of the Manchester teams hasn't done well this year. Finally France has become more interesting with two strong teams to challenge a team which had become dominant, though now it seems more like it's only two strong teams, while the German quality in overall seems to have gone up, with Bayern still the best.

Definetly what makes an "interesting league" is how many teams are in the race for the title, and not the raw power of the ones who are in.
German league must be now so *** boring, how many points does Bayern have of lead vs the 2nd?
BTW, Cech doing a "gravesinha" XDDDDDD

I wouldn't say quality doesn't matter. E.g. I'm sure lower Spanish divisions may have more title candidates, but not more supporters. I think it's a combination of quality and how close the teams are.
The English league when Chelsea was dominating wasn't nearly as thrilling as it is now, in my opinion. Likewise the Italian league is really a bore these last few seasons.

Yes, a combination of both. What I wanted to say is that raw power by itself doesn't make it funny & interesting. But as you know, my English sucks

Hmm, I get it's confusing. All you need to know is that you cheer for Arsenal and you are the guy who wears a diaper when they play. (Because the excitement is a bit too much for you)
