But that dude is using wine. 
Try to install HDMod the same way you installed H3. Destination folder is your game folder.

Im not the PC crack.. Therefore I donīt think it exist an introduction or an video how to install the HD Mod with using wine?
Or is it not possible because I used the PortingKit for the normal installation?
Find your Heroes of Might and Magic 3.app that you created with the PortingKit.
Right click and select Show Package Contents.
Run Wineskin.
Click Install Software.
Click Choose Setup Executable.
Select the HD Mod installation file wherever you saved it and follow the prompts as it installs.
When it is done, go back to the Wineskin menu and select Advanced.
In the Configuration tab, change your Windows EXE by clicking browse and navigate to HD_Launcher.exe
Perform a Test Run to make sure it works.
NOTE: 32-bit True (stretchable) GDI gives me a white screen so I use 32-bit True.
I do some changes to the Tweeks but they are not required to get things running.

I imagine the instructions would be the same except no need to change the the Windows EXE. You can select the original HOMM3 or HoTA executable from the HD Mod menu.

I'd just run the hota exe directly into the h3 drive/folder, in theory should work.

So I got this addon mostly for the resolution change, because mine wasn't showing the whole game, and now it works fine in that aspect, so thanks a lot for that.
but I noticed in the description that it's supposed to be able to do online multiplayer, but when I try clicking the online option in multiplayer it just kicks me out of the game, so is this option bugged, not currently working, not yet implemented or is it my game or something?
I have Windows 10, HotA 1.4.2, and the most recent version of the HD addon.

Well since it said online multiplayer I was trying to use the very bottom one that says Online Service.
Because hotseat of course is on the same computer.
TCP/IP and IPX is just local multiplayer.
Modem connect I have no idea.
and direct connect the players have to be connected by ethernet cable.
So it was the only logical choice, but like I said it just kicks me out.

Ah, I see. That is the old feature for using online gaming service like Mplayer.com. No idea why it crashes you but AFAIK, the only way to do multiplayer is via TCP/IP or hot seat at the moment.
You should be able to could play over the internet with TCP/IP and a VPN.

Yeah, I was just trying to avoid that if I could, and make it less complicated. And I just assumed since it said online multiplayer that it meant they had added a functioning online multiplayer service into the game or something and not just the same as it has been for years. But it's fine. Though it would be nice to have some kind of online multiplayer without a VPN. Like a built in lobby with game rooms similar to Gameranger but just for H3.

I got some ideas of how to improve your excellent mod, I don't know if it's possible or if you like the ideas, but here they are:
1) A "buy all creatures" button in towns. If not enough money buy highest level creatures first. (Alternatively make two buttons, one for buying high-low level and one for low-high level creatures)
2) In combat an "all wait" button would be nice. Sometimes when fighting an enemy you wan't to wait with all your creatures and instead of clicking wait 7 or more times a round, one click on this button would make all your creatures (and war machines) wait for that round.
3) This is probably the hardest to do, but a graphic showing when which creatures have their turn, the turn order in battle and of course whether they belong to you or the enemy.

This is already there, you need to clic on the castle icon next to the gold while in town.

Is there already a "buy all creatures button"?, hmm I never noticed that.
I can live with an optional graphic, guess some people prefer the classic clean look on the screen, but the information could probably be useful to most people.
Wow what an arrogant reply Salamandre, I know the turn order and the speed of all units by heart, still it could be useful to some people.

Just press the shortcut "w" with your left hand. Thats very comfortable. "d" is for defend.

That manual is'nt even correct:
Stronghold's Escape Tunnel does'nt allow you to surrender, only flee.

Okey. I'm not good when it comes to installing and stuff. I have Heroes 3 Complete bought from Gog. So if I want to play the HD mod, era II mod and Horn of the abyss, in which order should I install everything?
