Hy guys!
Hope you guys still can talk about the info we got so far, because I dont think, that in the next 2 day any information will be released. It's a national holday here in Hungary on tuesday, and monday is a day off as well
About the naga:
In the story its ok, that 5 brothers and sisters become powerful warlord among their factions, but when they announced, that Sandor becomes a mighty orc cheftain I felt a bit weird, but said ok. But when they spoke about that his sister becomes a naga warlord I really felt weird It's ok, that Sandor may kick some orc asses so he gets some "respect", but what could a young girl acomplish to be respected by those 4 handed nagas
____________
Hope dies the last time, but we have
the might to crush that as well.

You kidding, have you seen her artwork? They aren't blind.
I guess she (also) impresses them with her 1) intellect; 2) noble character; 3) soul qualities which are supposedly highly valued among people who go to meditate by the spring after they rip out the midriffs of the not-so-civilized enemies (who obviously don't meditate by the spring after they do something similar). I personally expect her story to be pretty cheesy.

I would like to point out they are much more likely to decapitate, lacerate and target vital organs with sharp metal objects then rip out mid-riffs!
Obviously the latter three versions of brutal murder are much more civilized!

Zeno, there is nothing to suggest that the Naga are Chauvinistic as a whole. Haven is reserved for that archetype. Compare their views on Stronghold for instance. Haven views orc/stronghold as uncivilized inferior creatures and even declared a crusade against them. Naga on the other hand have some degree of respect towards them as seen from the Stronghold creatures description.

I think it's much more unusual that most of the Demon heroes this time around seem to be mortal or semi-mortals instead of actual demons.
Seeing as most species of demon are physically more powerful and often have deadly supernatural abilities, along with equal or greater intellectual capacity, what makes these humanoid heroes such as Kiril leadership material?
I mean they are obviously inferior beings to any self-respecting Demon Lord.

Well if you listen cheerfully to the presentation of the Naga faction at some point tell something like praying or Praying to Shalassa and honoring the Ethernal Empress, so basically that would make the nagas a matriarchal society but not like Dungeon in H5 without the discrimination between the genders.
So now, when listening to Irina's story she is presented as a girl who was a tomboy fighting and playing with the boys (probably learning some sword play in secret from his brother Sandor) which gives you a basis of a strong female character self sufficient and independent that gets in a society where fighting prowess is respected more that your sex and on thing leads to another and I must say her introduction fits pretty well.

At this point I have discovered a new aspect that i am considered about. and that is the length of the campaigns.
When I see the 5 stories. I am really concerned if some of them are can by tolled in such a short time in the scale that they have potential to.
I do think Anton's story can by toled in 4 maps.
Kiril's and Anastasias's would make it. but somehow I think 5 maps would be better
But Sandor's and Irena's stories sound like the could make a 7-9 map campaign.

Not chauvinistic but I suppose that they'll consider themselves... hm, "spiritually superior" which is normally a camouflaged form of arrogance and conservatism. They sound like a secluded and self-sufficient society and normally the mainstream writers are very tempted to start preaching about serenity, harmony, living with honour and so on via certain characters, eventually turning the latter into some idealistic morons with little to no connection to the world around them. Like I said before, I hope that this will not be the case here.

If you speak Aroganc and Conservatism the faction that comes into my mind are the Dark elves. Ofcorse extremes are everyvare. But i do agree that the Naga so far do sound very idealistic and even the ancient Japan theme sort of indicates that they might by isolated from the rest of the world

Well that makes some sens, I mean the demons are all locked up in the fire prison while on Ashan the demon worshipers are the only ones who do the work in the name of chaos and provide a link to the world of Ashan, and when demons get out the Demon Lords relay on this instruments to point them out the weakness of there would be prey and lead the armies on unknown territory (basically they are the CIA of real world).
Regarding Kiril ... don't know a bit of Faust mixed in somebody soled his soul ... guess the Demon Lords relishes in the thought of corrupting, twisting pure soul to do evil and giving falls hope only to find himself in more agony and pain, other than that if I were to write a script I would use him either because there something special about the Griffin linage that could be beneficial to a Demon Lord trying to escape imprisonment, or represents a strategic asset in the coming war.

Which faction outside of Inferno is not idealistic?

From my point of view? I dont see the Elves of Irollan or Dwarves of Grimhaim as idealistic.
If you look at the naga, one of there inspirationsis ancient Japan. whichis famose for its isolational politics. So we might find som traces of that.
The Dwarves of Grimhaim were also depicted as Isolational, were also strongly protetctiv and suspisios twords everything non-dwarven, I don't think they reprezented any noticible or honory ideas and for me there situation was some how realistic (but this could just by my Czech aditude)

That's a funny thing to argue considering all factions have had their good and their dark spots. Ashan, grey morality and all that.

Actually, I find the Elves of Irollan to be the most similar to Naga in terms of "harmony", "one with the nature", and things like that.

Possibly why they didn't make it to the initial 5 factions. No doubt they will have different gameplay but it would be kinda like having 2 nature factions in the game.
