About the particurlar screenshot I have one thing that really makes me wonder. This eagle over the hero's head, whose symbol is it? Stronghold has the hand and Haven has that sun like symbol. So it really makes me wonder what does the eagle stand for. Also notice how Orcs are the treasure guardians in the snow terrain?

The humans http://static9.cdn.ubi.com/en-GB/images/MMH6_S_002_ADV_NECRO_V02tcm2110907.jpg

It's still the falcon empire at this time. You could see it on the first video

Then there's two things to consider:

Even though there's a Falcon Symbol over his head, the Hero is an Orc.

Even though the appearance is that of a Knight and the symbol is a falcon again on the second screenshot, the portrait below is Sveltana's, a Necromancer.

One can assume that since Kraal was the Teacher of Sandor in martial arts before Sandor was exiled; then Kraal is probably the Orc Hero we see on the screenshot and he's being either a Haven hero or at least a Stronghold hero allied with Haven faction. Also Sveltana, long before the campaign begins was a member of the Falcon Empire too. So, I suppose there's a prologue campaign at first that shows us the events before Slava's and/or Pavel's deaths?

The player is controlling Sveltana, not the knight in that scenario though. But anyway, I'm sure a lot of stuff on those pictures are just placeholders, like the Haven in the Mother Namtaru scenario etc.

Well, i made my own screencapture of the things i mentioned earlier. The supposed haven sister, the "floating tower", the potentiall dwelling and a round blue crystal

I think the round crystal is a telebort.. The floating tower could be an Inferno dwelling. But the big cave? could it be that the demon cave makes a comeback from heroes II???

Yes, it could probably be a placeholder. In Sveltana's case at least. Although there's that the Knight is standing outside of a Haven town too, but that could mean nothing.

However, in the Orc's case, I think that so far into development such placeholders would not exist. We know that the snow terrain was an out of the blue, last minute's addition to the campaign. I'm fairly sure that the walking Orc hero is Kraal perhaps in some prologue campaign before he left the Falcon Empire with Sandor?

Having different tastes is totally acceptable. You can say that you don't like it and be done with it. But condeming it and explicitly stating that it should be removed from the game because you dislike it without taking into consideration that others do like it and the work that was done to create it as well as the work they need to do to change it; well, that's not acceptable.

In what sense is that not acceptable?
You seem to be implying that "demands" are unappropriate whenever there's no 100% consensus about something. If we would live by that rule, we had almost no cases where anyone had the "moral right" to demand anything, cause there's always someone else who thinks otherwise compared to the demander group.

Imo when talking about fans wishlists, in essence a "demand" isnt anything more than a wish, really. It's highly unlikely that anything about the game will be changed anyway. But if the developers *are* considering something to be changed and they want to listen what the game community has to say, then, for instance, whats the big difference, if some poll concludes with  80% "Please, please replace this creature, although I'm aware that some of us think otherwise!" or with 80% "Remove that creature at once or I will hang myself tonight!"? There's no substantial difference between "I kinda dont't like it" and "This is a crime against humanity and sucks monkey bottom!"

All these different opinions are wishful thinking anyway, no matter how strongly or not they're verbalized. Imo if anything, the percent (pro or contra) should matter more than the way (how emotionally or dramatically) opinions are presented.

From the minimap, we can deduce that the Knight is of the red player/AI and we are as Sveltana, the green player.

The symbol seems to be the first allignment of the player controlling a given hero. The Falcon/Eagle seems to indicate that that player started with Haven. The Spider indicates Necropolis.(You can see that in the first screenshots of the battle between Sveltana and Knight x) It is likely that Stronghold has the Hand as it's symbol and Inferno has Ourobouros.

Yes, it is inappropriate to reject and demand change in something that doesn't belong to you. You got some criticism to offer, do so if asked or even better think of something that can improve the game, not by taking away but by adding to it. Be civil and they will consider it. But it's not your place to dictate what should be changed in what's already been done. It's Ubisoft's work we're talking about, not yours. Especially when we're talking about mere designs of units in the game that are somehow similar to each other (so you say) and yet, we know next to nothing else about them. Ofcourse, it's Ubisoft's fault, who did not reveal the units when they were still just a concept art and ask us if we want to see them in-game or not. That would make things easier for all parties involved but hey, Ubisoft owns the franchise and the rights to it, Ubisoft calls the shots. If the end result is not that much to your liking, then you can simply refrain from buying the game.

A poll could work out better but to what extent? I simply consider the people who visit this forum not enough to decide the fate of the game. Unless similar polls will be made in all the other fansites and especially the non english speaking ones just as well, and the majority of all users agree on something.

Anyway, I consider demands, wishes and having an opinion to be different things.

Other than the leveling of the Heroes, I suspect it will be the same lines of the Traditional Heroes of Might and Magic. And in particular that of Heroes III & V. The fact that we have a reduced number of resources does not make a whole lot of difference I expect. And the Area of Controll and the New Tier System have been explained already. And if you do not know them, I suggest you look them up in the FAQ.

I was hoping for more detailed descriptions and information then 7 lines in an owerall summary.
And you forgot the worst one, Creature pool with will kill most of the logistik in the later part of the game. (so scared about the creature pool)

By logistics do you mean caravans and courier heroes? If so, I think pools are a big step up.

Yes, making a hero train to get your units was annoying, but vital to the game.

A good game (for me) is set by as much options as possible. And logistic decisions were IMHO more important than battle tactics.

You had to chose to attack or to wait and gather strength. To go on and persuiat your weekend enemy or to regain your strength. How to transport your units from one side of the kingdom to the other. These were eh things for me that made the game a chalange, not the AI of the PC or the amount of his armies.

Eliminating the logistic part is something I am really afraid of. Maybe I have a different tip of game play but I fear that the game will go from strategy to on battle and the game is over. Giving ultimate access to all unites in every castle can result into either redicilesly hard game, or an to easy game. depends on the AI and its benefits.

Unlike the other changes, I'm really skeptic of this particular on.

Understand me, I don't wan to have a game were all I need is to gather a big Army, Bad enough how H-V and H-IV ended up (H-IV giving a to big emphesys on the hero)

I dunno, I found hero trains to be a huge chore that detracted from my enjoyment of the game. I would prefer they come up with other mechanics to encourage you to split your armies. I don't think hero trains really did that. They either made you micromanage a bunch of crappy heroes to gather an army, or just leave your units at a town until it was about to be attacked. You should probably still leave some units in the pool for that purpose. I believe you will have to convert and upgrade conquered towns to gain access to the pool, so it's not gonna be that easy.

Waiting to gather strength basically means doing almost nothing on your turns, which was pretty boring. I'm eager to see how the new mechanics change the dynamics. If nothing else, I'd like a fresh experience.

@Kenishi Wee already had this topic few pages back. In the same picture you have Vampire knight with is also not true at this time. So I wouldent take those names for granted.

Every time I listened to Erwan with "Rush now think later!" I have a funny feeling it is a scene with Kraal mentoring Sandor in tutorial campaign or first chapter of the campaign's cutscene. Probably the part where the player learn how to use blood rage
