I don't see why the events with Academy should be limited to that time line. C'mom, there must be something epic that heppened, and was not witten/forgotten/remained in secret!

And I won't be any happy if dwarves don't appear in an expansion...
(I hope they will be in the MMH7 on the fisrt installment! and will have a major actuation in the plot!)

Sylvan X dark elves is the obvious choice for an expasion, and i would love it (play with my favorite faction slaying some dudes from the one i hate most!), but It seens UBI isn't making obvious choices in H6, starting with the 5 factions, passing by 4 resources and going on...

I just loved we'll be able to decide the path the campaign go!

Muahaha!

I think i may get an dragon knight hero, but i also think they aren't going to be a faction. - it would be fantastic to play with tieru!

Then they could still work with different tilesets -- I'd personally love to see more diverse underground terrain than just basic "cave"; similarly to Hammers of Fate and their dwarven halls they could add some dungeons, interiors of ruins (let's say an entire underground city) or a deep, twisted hell of the very Sheogh.

Mostly, I hope for tougher creeps. H5 was pretty poorly balanced, because it was pretty easy to take even top tier neutrals out pretty quickly, at least if they were not upgraded (upgraded level 7s were generally tough). I hope it will be harder to take down champion stacks, so that they last till later in game.

A BABYLON TOWER
After entering this twisted, high structure, you gotta defeat five groups of Champions (each from different faction), and then you can choose one enemy hero whose creatures will be instantly turned into random ones from another town(s), but matching tier (example: enemy hero would have 50 skeletons, 20 vampires and 3 fate spinners, and they would turn into, let's say, 50 goblins, 20 juggernauts and 3 kirins)

Yeah they need to have harder creeps, that's why I like that they added "armies of creeps" so that the can use their combinations to get stronger.
Something I have been thinking about is, it would be cool if some creeps were led by some kind of hero or commander to cast buffs, spells and whatever. These heroes would of course give experience and that which they guard are more rewording, perfectly suited for late-game creeping.

house of mirrors - where u have to fight yourself... same hero, same creatures, same abbilities....computer gets to go first... u get exp for it...

the tower thingy... would be nice if u would advance per floor fighting bosses gaining exp but revealing all the heroes of the map and their stack... thats just rude

and i would like to see the sphynx making a return with riddles, kills off 50% of the army or gives u a cool artifact

Good proposals, especially the house of mirrors
But there is actually and old thread for this (oh god it's so old I can't even find it, so nvm)

I would like to have something like in wake of gods where you can give your units extra abilities. it would be awesome for certain map Objects where you fight hard creatures and whatnot, gain rewards that alter your units or spells. Something more unique quite simply.

XP for units is a dream of mine. Upgrading units with new skills, abilities and artifacts = pure win.

Changing enemies army is a no-go, because it would disrupt balance, but the house of mirrors thing is actually pretty interesting. It would be default be a tough match, so benefits would have to be high.

I actually think they had a lot of different treasure buildings in H5, particularly come TotE, something people often failed to mention, but which I liked.

The reason for this are the insane attack/defense bonuses that heroes get when leveling up. Add skills and spells and fighting strong creeps after mid-game is almost impossible, the game is just too easy. I liked Heroes 4 where only tactic skills altered attack and defense and the cap was 50% which is reasonable (excluding the combat skill of course which was overpowered).

    Might i ad that the tower should be disguised as a regular building that you would visit (just to make it a random event). Would be sweet to go visit a XP Shrine and to wake up in a fight ....

    Or like in NWN SoU were there was a hall of Mirrors and you could visit each on and gave different item/resource/gold etc. but also could summon a mirror image of yourself to fight

    Sphinx yes would be cool to have it back but it could be a little bit tweaked and give beside riddles some logic games (easy at first) and if wanting a bigger reward you could choose another more difficult etc. until you reach 3 and you get the reward but if you fail you get nothing (o and you can`t quit after choosing a new riddle you have to answer and if it was correct you can quite and get a smaller reward or continue)

Not sure if this has been addressed in the past 218 pages (lazy me not wanting to check them all  ), but here's a question for all of you.

In regards to things like the Dragon Utopia, or the Dwarven Treasury, or any other treasure cache, do you prefer it the Heroes 3 way where you are placed in the middle and are surrounded by the creatures, or the Heroes 5 way where it's the standard left and right setup?

I personally loved how it was done in Heroes 3 as it gave it a different feel as opposed to the regular battles. I'm sure we won't be seeing a return to that style, but I for one would love it if they did.

Personally I'd prefer the H3 method, but it's unlikely that the battlefield will be big enough now (you'd need it to be like 16*16).

Special battle arena like King's Bounty has (when fighting Bosses or faithing to upgrade an artifact)... or similar but to answer if i had to choose between H5 and H3 i would prefer H3 stile.

Weren't we supposed to get 3 updates this week?? Is it me or did we have only 1 or 2??
They could update the creature animations in the new site...Seeing as they will follow the order in which they showed us the artworks, the next one is Pit Lord, ins't it? I'm impatient to see how it looks in-game

Sure it might not be so hard to have the names changed in YOUR OWN game. However when I'm here posting or talking to people, I can't really call the Sister "Beauty Girl", I mean how will people know if I talk about the Sister and not  the Centaur, Ghost, Succubus, Spring Spirit or the Breeder?
Sure most modding isn't hard, but the names will affect us all whether we like it or not...
(god I hate the name Sister)

That's our own fault as a community that the name were changed to the worse. I did like the original names better too. I've been reading HC's forums for quite some time before registering. One of the main reasons I decided to register is to prevent the community from repeating such mistakes again. Offer some criticism to your criticism, if you will!

Not really worse than adding creatures from other mythologies That said, the H3 dungeon is my all-time favorite line-up and it's full of greek mythology creatures !

60 seconds of gameplay+cutscenes isn't enough
Hope next week they do the same with Necropolis. I want to know more about Sveltana. I believe she will be the most interesting character in the game.

i think Dwarfs have absolutely the same rights to be in Heroes6 as Orcs.. think about it..

Melee - Orc mauler / Dwarf warrior (pretty same..isn't it. dwarf has more magic resistance, while orc is more powerful, dwarf is mighty as well btw.)

Magic - Shaman / Rune priest (both have same rights to be an interesting caster)

Very powerful melee - Ogre / Giant (mountain/frost/fire something Jottun like)

Flyer - Harpy / Valkyrie (i think Valkyrie will fit because it's related to Norse mythology, should be elite though or even a champion)

Champion - Cyclops / Frost or Norse dragon (Níðhöggr for example) or Fire dragon from HoMM5 but i personally dislike it

who else..?

Goblin??? i think is quite stupid creature... weak and useless.. could have something similar for Dwarfs easily.. Gnomes for example.. or i don't know... I'd prefer something snow related.. Fenris wolf or Saber tiger...

Large creature - Centaurs / Bear riders (i liked their appearance.. Polar bear is cool IMHO) also can be Einherjar (spirits of the fallen warriors brought back by Valkyries) i think it can be Very interesting unit..

so Overall.. Dwarf faction can be in Heroes6 ... if the creatures were implimented badly in Heroes 5 and Rune magic was a bit overpowered, it doesn't mean that Ubihole will not be able to make an interesting Faction with Dwarfs in future...

Oppose me Dwarf-Haters if you can!!!!!
