mounts? again? c'mon we already know about them from the video. damn i sometimes they really can be annoying in what they choose to reveal....at least a necro fort screenshot could have done....disappointing.

Sorry but Light and dark are not primordial schools.. there the same level es elemental (more or less)
The Pripordial school is the Magic of Asha and Urgash why light and Dar is the magic of Elrath and Malassa

And the SOTD is... well not that good as yesturday
A very interesting cave guarded by the gryfins on the left said and an ingame model of the Glory with is ery disapointing.. Thought they will look better

And aleso some story stuf. it looks like we will see the time were Heresh is being Colonised by the Necromancers.

Wow! New screenshot looks hot!

This confirms that Necro are in Heresh around 564 YSD. Heresh is once a beautiful vale, but becomes wastelands once ridden over by ghosts and ghouls!

Notice:

- The Glories on the map now.
- Floating mass (probably something with replenishing magic...like the well in H5?)
- The Dragon mouth open (probably replaces the H5 staircase and goes underground?)
- The floor designs of the Haven and Necro heroes....seem to be confirmed now....

Very nice Ubi....the last 3 screenshots have been fantastic!

I never said Light and Dark are primordial, I said PRIMARY, I consider Primordial a SECONDARY magic school that does not play on an even level with the others.
Light and Darkness are considered elementals in the new game just as much as Fire/Water/Earth/Air.
Primordial is not an element so to speak, it is magic that falls out of the usual catagory, hence I do not expect an elemental to show up for it.

So I suspect we will see two more elementals, POSSIBLY a final one, but the Primordial elemental I consider unlikely.

I am really curious about dark elemental. We've seen "standard" elementals and light - Glory, but nothing about dark elemental. It would be nice if it apear in dungeon faction in expansion or something.

The Dragonfaced map location looks very interesting... Glories looking so much better with the lighting effects, as expected.

Are those Obelisks up the back by the Sun Rider do you think, or just some scenery? Also, does anyone know anything about that temple?

Is it just me, or does it look like the Necropolis is spread Wasteland terrain around it?

Weren't they present on the editor screen as a part of a border gate (or whatever it was)? Perhaps they represent the border between two areas of control?

Having so much undead and poison around isn't likely to be good for plants

Well the a dragon for eache of the dragon gods was not a good idea..
Why then put the one element for eache of the dragon gods?Wouldn't that by an element to much, or two?

But some ideas about the map objects are realy nice a give sece
(obelisks for Area borders, Dragon mouth as a underground entrence)

would be cool to see a Conflux like dwelling or even town, but with the following lineup:

Core:

Air, Earth, Fire and Water elementals

Elite:
Light and Dark

(all the 6 elementals could be elite or core too)

Champion:
Primordial (could be shapeshifter, as primordial is both chaos and order).

I have a proposal for such town/big-dwelling/mini-faction, but that takes its own topic

On the contrary, I think the present looks GREAT.....in the future Heresh becomes the wasteland and then it won't look so great, but will still be cool

I'm hoping heroes, non-campaign heroes need some love.
Bit late to say now but enough is enough with the creatures, you don't have to deplete one topic and then move on to the next, throw in a mix.
I want to know more about heroes, detailed info on what they look like would be a nice start.

Another cool feature might be a weekly or even daily "tavern hero" with their bio, portrait, class and specialization, give us a bit of a feel for em.

It's still HEROES of Might and Magic/Might and Magic HEROES.

I think it would be cool if they came up with some really unique abilities to differentiate the elementals. The fire elemental could move in a line, setting the ground on fire and dealing fire damage to all units along the line. The air elemental could control the wind, pushing and pulling units on the battlefield. For example, you could pull enemy ranged units towards you, and push melee units away. Earth elementals could have some sort of burrow ability, where they could materialize elsewhere on the battlefield. Otherwise they could solidify into a high hp wall to block enemy units.

    Not necessarily although there are leaked infos regarding the Naga (of which is not certain if it's the final concept or just an early stage of concept) exist they might want to make them a surprise revile on the lunch day or some days before to increase hype, also there is THIS.
So unless there will be a beta for players to test and ask for a delay (hopefully won't be needed) do to numerous bugs or the dev. delay it, the game comes out on March.

I would love to see them try "another" formula besides "mass haste vs. mass slow"  and similar - ??

Take Kings Bounty for an example. Even though you're expert in Distortion Magic ( equivalent to expert Earth Magic ), you still have slow in a non mass effect, deadly at times, but still, you have to decide which creature to cast it on ( Depending on enemy creature level ).

Wish
That you could cast spells, such as " mass slow" on part of enemy troops depending on your total magic.

I am not sure, I have thought this through, but something up those lines

Yeah, the fact that the upgraded shaman can cast those spells worries me a bit. I wonder if the mass versions work differently than in Heroes V. Otherwise, that's a very powerful ability. Maybe it has less of an effect or only covers a certain area.
