Adding new creatures

ERA plugin for adding new creatures (test monster N197 included): http://zalil.ru/30329119

For adding new creatures you need:
- add frames to CPRSMALL.def, TWCRPORT.def and AVWATTAK.def
- add to any lod-file def of the creature with "CR[number].def" name.
- add rows to ZCRTRAIT.txt and CRANIM.txt
- increase "Creatures" value in DATA/amethyst.cfg
- create config file: DATA/creatures/[number].cfg. See example.
- add missile def (SHOT[number].def), if necessary
- add sounds: S[number]ATTK.82m, S[number]SHOT.82m and others.
- add monster's small sprite into ZEOBJTS.txt & ZOBJCTS.txt (nod included into sample archive)

Don't forget that sounds in data must be in 82m format, the wavs from your pack will not play

Now we need someone to translate those txt files additions, then...add creatures. How is the creature selectable other than ERM? Can we use the custom lod for more or have to fill the regular one?

How is this complicated? No matter what programs you use now or in the future to add creatures, you will always have to fill those txt files and create sounds, and this is not hard, just follow the first example.

Any lod that you want. I use h3custom.lod because I don't like creating wog-files.

Yes, you can add rows to your txt files (but don't forget about two empty lines in the end of files). I lost my English copy of WoG and couldn't create the English version.

This when try view on 1 level units expierience, only skeletons working , without amethyst plugin all is ok. Sorry for my english )

hmm, tryed on other wog's , have 4 wog on my pc, and same error, without amethyst all ok...

Please delete all register context errors, unnecessary scrolling in a good thread. Only first 10 lines or so from the top can help debugging a script.

Try to set "Creatures" number in ameethyst.cfg to 196 and check for bugs. If it helps - I'll have to make loading parameters of the creature to the configs, not to zcrtrait and cranim
