I find it unlikely the daugther would tell the world that they already knew how the decision would end up going, while they were recieving money, should they not decide to go for president. My guess is that something came up later, which made them alter that decision.

I'm in the midst of my biggest business expansion ever, which probably would make the OWS anti-capitalist movement positively livid. I'll likely retire in a couple of years and travel the world with my wife, never working another day in my life. Rage, Marxists, rage!!!!

What free time I have I'm mostly spending with my family rather than correcting all the liberal apologists on the internet. I anticipate not being very active for most of the remainder of the year.

As far as Palin goes, she said some time ago that she was waiting to see if there was a good candidate with executive experience in the field that had a chance to win before she made her decision. Anyways, I also said a couple of months back that she had waited too long and I did not think she would run.

I do think whoever wins the GOP nomination will win the presidency. It won't be Romney though.

Nah, they just believe in defending America from terrorists. If you don't agree America has a right to defend against terrorists, oh well.

What is unconstitutional is going to war without a declaration of war, and only the Congress has that power (Article One, Section Eight). There has been no declaration of war since WW2!

It's interesting that the CIA reports conclude that the main motivation behind terrorist attacks is precisely the US foreign policy of preemptive war. There is too much blowback and unintended consequences. Plus, the country is broke, so there's no money to fund the wars, except the printing press of the FED inflating the currency.

Precisely my point.

The last time America was actually attacked by a sovereign nation was the last time it went to war legally under its own laws.

The War of Terror is as stupid and pointless as the War on Drugs, hundreds of billions wasted over few to no results, while accidentally empowering the bad guys even more than ever.

If American politicians were really serious about the war of terror, they'd be protecting their British and North Irish allies from the IRA and also invading Saudi Arabia, the #1 sponsor of Islamic branded terror worldwide (Not that attacking them without a declaration of war would be legal). Too bad so many politicians AND news organizations in the US are bought and paid for with Saudi money huh?

Oh and Elodin. Congratulations on expanding your business. I wish you all the success you can achieve. Owning a business is the dream of many people, mine included. Mind me asking what industry the business is in? =)

That's really rude to say.
It isn't justified to say something like that to a person just because you disagree with that persons opinions.

Anyway, the War of Terror is ridiculous.

The US should have spent their war money on DEFENSE instead.
It wasn't nescessary to kill millions of civilians in Iraq - the world isn't a safer place now.

Anyone saw the last debate? I think it was a game changer in many ways.

Romney was actually good, but he just can't convince people he's conservative enough. Probably because he's a moderate.
Perry got owned. Again. I don't think he'll be coming back for another debate.
Cain got some serious heat for his nein nein nein plan, and talked about fruit.
Paul was really good, and got a fair amount of air time, although he didn't get closing remarks.
Bachmann said "Obama will be a one term president".
Gingrich for once seemed to disagree with the other candidates, and not just say "everyone on this stage would be a better president than Obama". (Although he might have said that).
Santorum ... well ... I don't remember what he was talking about...
Huntsman was ... no, he wasn't there. well, didn't make much difference anyway.

Predictions:
Perry will loose all his support, Cains numbers will decline, Romneys numbers won't change, Gingrich and/or Paul will get a moderate or strong increase in their numbers, nothing will happen with Santorum (maybe he drops out), Huntsman probably will drop out soon.

30% of republicans are still undecided, and the choice is narrowing down...

I agree - for once Romney looked like something other than a statue.  And Perry is done - he looks like more of a dope with each debate.

If Romney is their best, then the only way he'll win is if republican controlled legislatures in the states carry out their plans to disenfranchise voters.

Perry was indeed getting his ass kicked. When he attempted to attack Romney a 2nd time over him supposedly hiring illegal immigrants I kind of got that uncomfortable squirmy feeling you get whenever you're watching a school presentation and the presenter is messing up. Seriously man, let it go. The essence of a high degree of any of Perry's  remarks I remember being attacks on Romney's tract record. I realize Romney is currently still the top contender so it makes a level of sense to find weaknesses in his candidacy, but an anti-Romney candidate just isn't going to fly. I think the reason Cain has been enjoying some higher popularity is because he's diametrically the closest alternative to a mainstream Republican now that Perry has been crumbling.
Newt continued to orchestrate his points well and I smiled a few times at his dry wit, but he's an old dog that's been in the public spotlight for years upon years and it would almost be like the equivalent of Al Gore attempting to run again. It's just not going to happen. Bachmann continued to attack Obama more than the other candidates on the stage and emphasized a fierce loyalty to the current foreign policy model right beside Santorum. Being biased in favor of Paul, I think he continued to be forward in his points and I admire how he always makes sure to answer the meat of the question as opposed to Perry ranting about who Romney hired, or Bachmann talking about her zen connection to single mothers, or Santorum being on the verge of committing ritual suicide while he talks about family.

Hehe, not surprizing at all. Perry is getting his but handed to him again and again in the debates, so his campaign manager advises not running anymore. And then that attempt to defame the debates by calling them "Pointless" and saying that they "Accomplish nothing" just goes to show you how far down the ladder the ebates have brought him.

And then there was Romney... and Paul...

Oh, anyone see Cain's comercial? I suggest watching it on the Colbert Report. A good "WTF, why you so dumb?" moment if I ecver saw one.

Yeah, Cain is loosing numbers as quick as Perry was. Gingrich might get a little bump in the polls, as people are looking for a new candidate. But it won't last. Romney and Paul are the only ones with consistent numbers, and I think the last battle will be between those two.

I guess what the media is pushing as news right now is Herman Cains sexual harassment settlement. Although I don't believe in attacking a candidates person, but rather the issues, I have to say that he's handling this very bad. The Daily Show cut togethemader a humorous segment about it (Click), in line with the heat they've been giving him for a while now.

Yeah been talking about that in Gov, so apparently even though he settled all three charges outside of court, Cain claims that he has never harassed anybody. Kinda' fishy, since if nothing happened and nobody was harassed, you usually don't settle outside of court and you don't include complete silence in the settlement agreement, but that's only if nothing happened. Which nothing did, obviously. We can totally trust a politician. [/genuine voice][/sarcasm]
