Quote: 11 - Family issues
A close friend came to me crying the other day, telling me how she has problems at home, hates her mother and have generally nowhere to go. And I was standing there, like a complete fool, not having any idea at all on what to do, I did my best to make her feel better, but in the end, nothing I could do would help. What would you guys have done?
is she your age?
She's probably rebelling against her mother. Best to try to convince her to start a dialog with her instead of flying into teen rage/emo/destructive moods.
Not really, she's been having issues with her mother for a really long time and can't stand her. She's generally a very positive and lovable person, but she has serious issues with her mother, and she refuses to move to her father, because he lives too far off and she can't move away from her friends.

This may sound like an odd suggestion. But what if she tried to be like the person she could ever towards her mom? I mean, the worst thing that'll happen is her mom acts like a biatch while she's still super generious and caring. The best thing, her mom and her might bond better? I mean she probably loves her mom, and have some emotional issues right now. Seriously if I were back in that age, I'd totally do what my parents wanted me to, even if I still to this day disagree, not because they're in any way my superior, but out of love. I'd do my very best to make every moment we have together the very best, do all I possible can to make them get what they want. I am certain they'd eventually get to respect me as their equal, and I'd much rather choose those I love rather than friends how fun they may ever be, and how unreasonable ones parents may ever be.
Quote: Actually you've misunderstood again
The proper argument is "give a man a fish and he'll have food for a day, send him to sleep with the fishes and the fishes will have a royal feast for at least a month" stop sleeping during class time I can't always be here to correct you.... even though in spirit I'm always with you

Well, I would delete the people from the adress list as a start, then try to work it out.

You gotta have your computer scanned. I am no expert and some people can help you much more by looking through log files. There are better forums for this than this one.
What I can suggest however is that you google a bit until you find anti virus software and anti malware/spyware software that you find sounding good. After having cleaned your PC, CHANGE THE PASSWORD of your yahoo mail!
If the same problems still happens, I believe there are the following options.
1) Those who claim it's from your mail is wrong, it's a mail that looks a lot like yours to trick them (i.e. they're the infected ones).
2) You still have something on your computer (or have gotten it again), which have got to your password
3) something else
So if it doesn't work, I suggest you check out a forum with experts on this kind of stuff who'll probably want you to make a log file and then tell you what parts you should delete. If the problem still happens, then it's very very very likely it's your friends who're being tricked, and it has nothing to do with you.
Remember, every time you solve this problem (should it re occour) you gotta change your mails password!

Try these out, I suggest doing them both btw (there are many more out there if you feel like going fanatic on your PC (just type in online virus scan in google), it should take aprox 2-3 hrs but does a nice work, after you've finished though you should consider finding a better protection (depending on your PC)

sometimes, when the virus manifests himself, you can learn its name (though, I doubt it is the case of your virus??) then you can google it.

Physics, Maths and chemistry, picked physics, didn't like it. Still came clear that wouldn't like chemistry or maths either.
So Dental Medicine or International Business Administration next, haven't decided yet. They sound interesting enough. And it isn't all just sitting in boring lections.

it was curiosity. wanted to know about programmation. I had never done it before. overall it was ok. though, I don't see myself working 8h per day on a program. I did a few training periods, and usually, there were about 3-4 hours per day where I was effective. the rest of the day it took me 3-4 hours to do what should be done in 1 hour lol.

I made my decision based on what I want in life. I thought and think it to be the most optimal way.

Since I have finished Business I vote for that, It's not that bad and the money is nice plus the whole concept of looking inside people's mouths for the rest of the life is something you should consider (but I have a dentist, money is good )
edit : Ohfor, well the biggest problem most people have is indeed that they don't know what they want to do with their lives

Yeah that's my experience as well. But just because you do know, does not mean you won't have obstacles or meet things that'll change your own view on things.

Hm.
I might have to join the army, as I have no job and no money and no education .. and I cannot afford an education. On the top of that it is almost impossible to get a job and I don't even know if I can get a loan or will be able to get into the school I want ...
Well now, I am in trouble.
On the other hand, I would fit perfectly in the army as I pretty much have the physique and discipline I need.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!
Any ideas or anything? Life is killing me

@Edn .. well go into the army if you really want to. The training will be something you will probably love, as well as all the new skills you will learn. It's a good choice.

Decision is yours and yours only, things you must take into consideration are :
1. Is army a dangerous place wherever you are at ?
2. Are you thinking of the army as something you want to do for the rest of your life or just as something that will get you enough money to pay for studies in which case, how much time do you have to enlist for and whether the time is something you are willing to sacrifice ?
3. Are you smart ? In the army 90%+ of the time smart people go insane (not actual insane but more of a brain dead because army isn't for thinkers)
4. Have you ever played sports (discipline) ?
5. Can you take orders from retards ?
In any case you should discuss it with family, friends as well as research the topic of the army in your country (information is important to have before making a big decision)
If you do enlist keep in mind :
1. The world keeps moving while you're in the army meaning once you get back into civil life it will no longer feel "normal" (adjustment can be tough and a long period)
2. If you wish to study afterwards the time spent on the army will create a gap with other students (social gap, age gap).
3. Depending on the army it will mold you in a certain way as a person, it can be an enriching experience but it can be the opposite of that, that is up to you.
4. Once you enlist you can't back out, so the decision must be beyond any doubt.
I've spent three years in the army and it sucked big time (that's just me though)
Regarding your life, job opportunities might be in other ares, you may ask for financial aid from universities... When things look dire, they usually aren't all bad, people need some proportion in life, a small break, don't let the bad stuff put you down.
Talk to your friends, search for positive feedbacks and ideas which can help you (you obviously aren't the only one with such a problem), stay positive and don't let a bad week push you into decisions you can't take back, chill relax and rethink everything untill you're certain.
