Batman Arkham Origins and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between the Worlds.

That is all.

Okay, I need to get something off my chest.

I've never actually been able to finish ALttP!

Not because I am not able to, but because I find the game...
Boring.

Like, everytime I sit down to play it, I get a little further than last time before totally losing interest in it and then I just let it sit there, rotting.

Last time, I believe I had just finished the 5th dungeon before losing interest.

I don't really know if anyone cares or not, but del_diablo keeps making a big deal about it.

YOU WHAT?

Wait, 5th dungeon, as in, the fifth dungeon? Not the fifth dark world dungeon?

Yes. The Fifth dungeon. Second dungeon in Dark World I think.

A Link to the Past was the best game of the SNES generation, hands down. You should be tried and hanged for blasphemy.

A Link to the Past is one of my fav games from SNES, together with Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country Really fun games

Earlier this year I started a full hack based on aLttP, Parallel Worlds. Very hard hack in the earlier stages, but it gets "manageable" when you get to the Dark World. But I think I never finished it, I did several dungeons on the Dark World but still was far from done, maybe I should continue it this week

Currently looking forward to Europa Barbarorum 2, albeit it's a mod not a game, though the sheer breadth of the mod makes it seem like a game of its own. After the spectacular failure of Rome 2 I'm in need of something else to sate my renewed 'Roman phase', Rome 1 and EB1 are nice, but I've played them to death when I was gearing myself for RTW 2.

Yeah, EB2 can't come early enough. Agreed with you there.

I'm kinda tempted to go full on Hayasdan evil emperor mode again.

Risk of Rain looks like absolutely amazing fun. Sci-fi rogue-like platformer focused on blowing the **** out of things in as short amount of time as possible.

Gonna wait for the inevitable sale where I can pick it up for the price of a bubblegum though.

I played the free alpha of Risk of Rain and in my experience the game gets really tedious after, say, two or three levels, as the major difference in difficulty comes from the enemies becoming more and more bullet-spongy. The exact same methods of dispatching them apply just as well, it just starts taking increasingly longer, to the point where on level three you're tackling the boss alone for half an hour. Unless they rebalanced it in some major way in the final release, I'll be skipping this one.

TotalBiscuit praised the **** out of it for its rewarding action, multiple classes and amazing music. That said I don't think he got that far.

Considering the sheer amount of items that change up the gameplay that is included, and the like 10 different classes with new abilities that can be unlocked, I doubt I'd get bored of it that quickly.

considering that my 360 pad barely works anymore and I still have to complete Halo 3 and Bioshock 2 (which is snowing tedious when the pad disconnects itself each time it vibrates), I'm not considering buying anything now.

Bravely Default for 3DS

I'm playing the demo, and I like what I see. The game is very pretty (especially with the 3D effect), and is a traditional (to the bone) turn-based jRPG, just what I've been looking for the 3DS. It has a simple yet deep battle system and a nice Job system to experiment on (as it's a FF style game, it's from Square Enix afterall). Heck, it even has Espers/Summons! It was warmly received by the reviewers (38/40 from Famitsu, and it's not even the enchanted version which the West will get). I've already pre-ordered it, and I await it's release date (6th of December).

Oh it starts out really fun, sure. It's just that after three levels I really, really didn't want to play anymore. Basically, during my first run I had no clue what I was doing, got killed somewhere on level 2, then I got the hang of it and survived until the tedium kicked in. But yes, the music is really good, so there's that.
