Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norell,

Oh yes, awesome! Short and sweet, no filling anywhere, great story, acting, etc! Really worth anyone's while!

I also suggest Narcos. It's based on the story of Pablo Escobar, the king of cocaine, the richest criminal of all time. His story is so over the top they didn't need to change much to make this season great.

TBH, I found Walking Dead to be very very meh.

But then again, I think that the whole zombie apocalypse thing is a cow milked dry.

Well I'm only on the first season but I'm enjoying it. I know what you mean though there are far too many zombie apocalypse themed things out there now.

I like The Walking Dead. But I must admit, season 2 was kind of boring for me.

Narcos: The life of Pablo Escobar narrated by the US DEA agent who was involved in his capture. It's slightly semi-fictional, not all historical facts are accurate but they gave the show a documantery-like touch anyway, with real footage and everything. It fits. Give it a go.

Deep Space Nine started off kind of sluggish in season 1 (I suppose I could say the same thing for The Next Generation in its 1st season) but I'm into season 2 and I'm starting to enjoy it much more now that I have a better connection with the characters. Quark is good fun Deep Space Nine gets to delve much deeper into the Cardassians and the Ferengi.

I have watched a few episodes, but although decent I am not carried away. It doesn't seem too deep. I'll probably watch a few more but if it doesn't pick up pace soon I won't finish it. Have you watched 12 Monkeys the series? I'd recommend it, it got me hooked from the get go.

Yo Xerox have you seen the 'Thick of it'? It soooo accurately portrays Brit politics, half the time you won't know whether to laugh or cry.

Idk if it's acting or if he's just being a regular Scott on-screen, regardless it feels authentic.

watched the rest of the episodes yesterday. 2/10 for the whole series. the idea is good, the plot is ok, but the way it is directed/implemented is garbage. there are so many plotholes and so many horribly illogical scenes, the show isn't worth watching anymore. which is a shame, because i like the idea of animals overthrowing humans.

from what i've seen of the series, i think it was made by one of those PETA lunatics. not someone who likes and is against animal cruelty, i'm talking about the fanatical psycho's in the group. pro-animal terrorists, if you will.

the ideology behind it is amusing, since none of the humans have been able to have sex. in every scene where it seems like they can get freaky, they've always been interrupted. the message behind that is pretty funny; you can definitely see the mind at work, of whoever's running the show. or maybe, whoever wrote the book.

but anyway, i won't be wasting my time watching the show anymore. it's gone from bad to outright ridiculous. even fantasy is more realistic than this tripe. too bad, because i liked the african dude; he had a great character.

Defiance was meh. Decent at first but it's suddenly full of filler. Yet another Hollywood TV shows where the writers and producers have no idea how their story will even end. Making it up as you go along can never produce a high quality season.

Yeah, mostly due to the main character and his hooker lover, both decent actors, plus I find cowboyish characters irresistible if done right, despite the heavy cliche'.

Like Cpt Reynolds from firefly.
