all you have to do is name the folders like this. you dont have to rename script file.


Thank you!! I have no problem with waiting whatsoever.

I tried to do the folder installation, but at the start of the map, before the game even ask about Wogify, several bugs showed up in the screen.

I don't know the reason, and assumed that it was because my poor installation.

Maybe if the script appeared in the custom script tab... I don't know.

Guys, I found some really cool WoG mods, but they are in RUS only...
Maybe someone can translate then?

The ones that I really liked:
- Sonic's Scripts (Looks like a lot of interesting stuff!)
- Dracolich Pack (Very nice feats!)
- DF2 Megamog (This one have a lot of mods, but I only understand a few of then. Most of readme files are in Russian :/)

Why these mods are not in the forum? Just because of the language? Or maybe they're all buggy?

Yes man, they were made for wog 3.58f and are not in era format (mod/data/s) thus someone has to convert them. In general mods offered in era mods thread were tested under era, so someone would be needed to test your russian mods as well. If you know russian.

I'm not sure if it's the same ideia but what I was thinking was that it should be possible to use the upgrading levels to chose a new (add, not switch) especiality to heros, for intance for every ten levels after 20.

Another ideia is to create an object like the witch huts or something where you could had habilities for a prince.

Better yet, something like the Adventure Cave on 'The Dragon Slauther', where you win the chance to chose another speciality.

What I'm not sure if we can add the speciallities during the game cause I'd allways saw them be atribuited prior to the first compilation or what ever the game does before starting the map...

One ideia for what I've many sugestions it would be a spell book for commanders, with about eight or nine spells (diferents per class)
and tree diferent levels 1 no magic skills, 2 advanced, 3 master.

We could use diferent spells, use joust to simulate a 'First Strike' or even better retaliate before the enemy strikes if its possible. Confusion (loose turn with fear or other) and Blind (3 turns) would be great too. And what about  vampiric touch, raise skeletons, raise ghosts, raise vampires and raise bone dragon instead of Animate Dead at level one? It must be possible with the property that lets Pit lords summom ice demons.

I've many ideias for these one but for now is far away beyond my programming skills.

But I have other sugestions if you're interrested.

Plus, these two Era Plug-Ins may come in handy in the thread too, where they wont get lost. Bad Luck is a good variety and turns Misfortune into a useful spell, a double-plus since Fire Magic is the weakest school among the four. Plague has its challenges. The folder also contains "shades of darkness" as a third funny plug in.

Phoenix mod

Hello all!!
Im having some problems with phoenix mod and dont know if its me who doesn't know how to set things or if its a real problem.

1 - I can't use Black magic on the batlefield. I tried to do everithing i could.
2 - When playing with creature levels, all creatures have the same skill "extra ammo" even if they are not shooters. And that is the only skill they have for leveling.

Can someone help this poor man? =D

1 - did you try starting a necro hero, learning Black magic secondary skill and right clicking on hero in battle afterwards?
2 - it's intended.

How does one get black magic?
All I see that differs between necros and others are that they lack Inspiration and has Necromancy instead. Cant see the Black Magic skill anywere

Sstraits.txt has necromancy, not dark magic. Inspiration + other custom hints are ok. The help menu is ok, so should be enough I think.
