Ok, now that I have lurked around the map a bit I found that you're not supposed to be able to access the special buildings found around each fort. But (at least the left) inferno fort does not block the weekly firestorm building.

We could both advance to the next round OR face each other and have 4 members proceed to the semi-finals. I was considering to face poly but since you also lack an opponent this might be fairer.
I rolled random.org and it seems I play first for a change  But then I figured why not roll 2 more matchups and do strikeouts. If you accept just pick one you do not want, I will then do the same and we play the remaining one. I will of course extend the deadline a couple more days if we cannot play today. If you just cannot play in the days to come we both advance and see what happens.

That would be freespirit and purode, both will be getting in the Hall of Shame. The least I would expect from someone is to drop by and ask for a few more days or at least let me know that he will be unable to play. The very least.

It has also come to my attention that the balance has tilted towards the strength of cores, I will be tweaking their growth for the semi-finals. And I'll have to fix the passability with that altar of destruction..

I think a stronghold tears might hero has an advantage over an inferno tears might hero. Stronghold's 3 shooters + furies are stronger than Inferno's 2 shooters, which means that Inferno is risking to be shot to pieces while both armies wait for counterstrike duration to end. Perhaps storm wind is the best spell to cast for Inferno as it also lowers initiative.

How are you going to tweak growth? I think you shouldn't reduce armies because army size has already been lowered more than destructive damage (esp. true for champions).

Not armies in general, just cores. In the old version I had added 2 extra core weeks to keep up with the rest but those extra weeks are apparently too much for week 6.
