Yeah the ingame friends list doesn't work properly. EXPLOIT! 
Also, turns out im feeling too ill to play, sorry. It definatly has nothing to do with the fact that pancakes has come online and i promised him i'd teach him dota 2 or anything.

sometimes it does reset, sometimes it doesnt. I'm not sure how they coded stuff so that a bug happens only once in a while.

Welcome pancakes, right on time  It's pretty simple, just name one of the five races you do not wish to use. Then choose which two of the remaining races you want to play as tears and which two you want to play as blood.

I do not want to play as Inferno (I pwned gameslayer's inferno so many times that I'm getting tired of seeing inferno ;P)
As for the other factions:
Stronghold - Tears
Heaven - Blood
Necro - Blood
Sanctuary - Tears
Turns out, I'm heavily biased towards tears, since I wanted to play all factions as a tears hero xD

Thank you. That was really one of most exciting games I've played. I admit I simplified things a bit to help my argument, but still, one thing that stuck in my memory was that you managed to keep your angels more or less fully healed until the end, as well as healing the crusaders from time to time. But that game was exceptional, your paladin's morale was sky high with burning determination, and with him being chosen as the Guardian my despair spell didn't work as I hoped. So ok, I can't say GA4 in itself is overpowered but it has great potential. GG!

Yes, I think you did a good job at combining abilities to make sure that only some of my stacks could do something meaningful. Good theory well put into practice, I learned something. But like we chatted about at some points it looked like I was winning without doing anything. I was healing with creatures but there are limits to that, but then unlimited GA4:s joined me. Morale was great to have, giving me chances to cast the crucial spells and to walk out from crowds, and to protect with GA.

I don t want to play sanctuary. I chose undead tears and blood inferno, Tears Heaven, Blood Stronghold.

Yes, one group will be playing with 5 people and I hope to recruit another for the other group though it's not really necessary.

That settles it then, we are good to go with 5 members per group Each player will face all participants from his group, with matches being Blood versus Tears. Four games total, deadline being 2 or 3 weeks depending on your available town. Let's aim for 2 weeks if possible. Each victory counts as one point, top 2 from each group advance to the next round.

You're right, I missed him.
About the setups, it goes without saying that you can only use a faction/reputation combination only once. Hence the number of participants
The rules are clear, no ultimates and should you have necro tears(arvisme, poly and watcher) please avoid might if possible. Otherwise your opponent will have to use ultimates himself.
I do not recommend tears magic versus blood magic games as blood has the upper hand there. Blood might vs tears might and any might versus magic should be fine.
When you have finish a game please report here. Sharing artifacts, skills, battle flow and overall strategy would be most welcome or even better if you could record the battle video. Polyglot has a thread that tells you how to do that in a few easy steps

I have moved the faction/rep setups to the second post of the thread, I will be crossing out the combinations that have been played. Kayna's blood sanctuary and poly's tears haven are out.
I've also made a minor update on the rules to cross out rules that no longer apply in this tourney. Nothing you don't already know but just to be safe.
