I think you should play all classes to level 10. Then you know what you like. You get better cards when you level up. For example Hunter gets Animal Companion at some level if you keep playing him. That is SO GOOD

Agree with Minion. Level up the various characters. Get a feeling for each class. I loved warlock and priest the first few months, but now I am all about hunter

As a beginner I would recommend hunter. They can be played at any level and is good with basic cards as well with epic and rare cards. A good grinder hero.

I play every class, but it's usually all based on my current decks. If I find/create a cool deck I'm playing the hell out of it (usually there are two or three of those at a time though) whilst I seldom play the rest. The circle goes around when I pick another interesting deck. Usually the trigger is a new card (I want to build a deck around it) or an idea I pick up somewhere...

Some time ago I wasn't fond of playing Priest, but now I do like this class

@Homer I agree with most of the comments that say your going to want to lvl ALL the classes up to lvl 10, this lets you get a feel for the classes as well as earn all the basic cards which are quite often needed for later decks.

Has anyone else noticed that since this "Feast of Winterveil" crap that the game seems to take up more resources on tablets or smartphones???

I am lucky now if I can do 2 games in a row (if there quick) before my game crashes usually due to overheating I think.  This problem didn't happen before winterveil so wondering wth they did and when it's done if the problem will stick around.

Damn I need to get a new PC to play this on.

No I didn't notice any performance issues, but I do play mostly on my laptop. Maybe I'll pick up some games on tablet to check this out. But I wouldn't be suprised with this, they've added a lot of new (heavy) effects in recent months, like the Santa sleigh in TB, or Elises entrance animation...

I really don't know why they don't have a lighter option for this.  I mean there is no way I am going to pay real cash if my tablet can't even do more than 1 game at a time.

Also anyone playing that Dragon that gives ppl 15seconds just means game over for me as I can't play anything from that point on

Sometimes I think it's hard for anybody (even for expierienced players) that does not go with the flow and netdecks all those aggro/face s*it decks (and goes the "easy" way). Fortunately I still get my share of fun in Casual with my own decks...

All right Guys, after crafting Grom I'm in a point in Hearthstone that I seriously think that I have all the Legendaries I need. Of course there are still some out there that I would like either for fun or their usefulness for instance Trueheart, Al-Akir, Neptulon or Aviana, but I'm thinking of crafting some Epics that I'm missing. Imo the most important ones are Doomhammer, Brawl, Quatermaster, Sword of Justice (and MC alias Dr. 6, but I probably won't be doing a Secret Paladin cause it's cancer) and Twisting Nether. I'm leaning towards Doomhammer but I'm not a fan of crafting cards other then L's so I'm still thinking about it... Suggestions? Craft an Epic or continue grinding for Legendaries?

I suggest you go for some of the more valueable epics. Sometimes they are just as useful as a good legendary. So I would go for a few of those. Two doomssayers, some of the pala ones .. yeah the list is long really

Thx, I'll think about it.

Btw, what do you guys think about Vol'jin? I don't have any Priest Legendaries, and he seems like a good bet. Nowadays I don't do GvG packs, so there's very little chance I'll get him via standard "RNG" method... Is he worth it? Actually what would you Guys craft: Trueheart or him? Cause in terms of useful-put-into-many-decks cards those two seem reliable. Trueheart is a neutral but I still might get her via packs though After that Al-Akir would be my third choice maybe...

I have been thinking about the exact same thing. I pondered this a bit. Trueheart makes the classic Control Priest playable. I don't know what deck you want to play, so the decision should mirror that of course. In addition it can be played in Warrior or Paladin. Auchenai Soulpriest becomes a monster with the super heropower.

But Voljin is very good for Priest also. There are certain minions that are just nigh impossible for Priest to deal with. Twilight Drake is one of them. It is such a utility card with a unique effect, so it generally is a more fun card.

But for me, I usually go for the cards that I can't play without. And Control Priest can't be played without Justicar imho. So I'd go for her, since you asked

In another news I just crafted Lord Jaraxxus! I made a Reno-lock deck and it is losing a lot but it is fun xD

Edit: I got my third Malygos, dammit! Why do the same ones keep piling up!

I have seen Vol'jin a lot lately. So I guess he is a solid choice for a priest. And he is quite frustration when set up correctly. So a good choice

But Minion has a point craft those you cannot live without .. go for that

EDIT: Just unpacked cenarius.. Not useful, but now I have him.

He is one of the "great" Legendaries, you should be happy even if you don't play Druid I would be happy to get Tirion even though I will never play Paladin, ever ;P

Cenarius is not "useful" simply because Control Druid was pushed back with aggro decks. He's still a great card though. Although control decks can also be irritating I hate how slower decks are downgraded by fast/aggro decks simply becuase those are "more effective"...

God I hate RNG in this game. I'm trying to complete my Rare cards collection and it's been months since I got something new (especiallly in TGT). I simply can't nail down Savage Combatant, Powershot and Healing Wave (from the more useful ones). I think Blizzard hates me...

An interesting (though quite old, pre TGT and LoE) Kripp movie with Ben Brodes view on balancing and buffing cards. Why you can hear some PR in it, Ben does make some valid points like: all cards will never be equal (meaning it's not possible to make every card the same value, some will always be the worse ones), and that the game needs bad cards to help new players learn by expierience what are bad plays in Heartshtone etc (I don't know if you know what I mean, it's better you hear it from him yourselves). Also an interesting bit about how bad cards stimulate the community (I didn't think of that ) in good or bad ways, but it's still some kind of interaction I recommend this movie (keep in mind it's 30 min long, but I think the gist of it is in the first 15 min, you don't need Kripps feedback part ). I would like to know your opinions on this Guys

PS: While I buy the concept of the need for bad cards, I think that they should at least put more work into Legendaries. I think there shouldn't be any "bad" Legendaries. Yeah I know that some of them will always be picked over other cards, and that this could lead to all Legendaries being auto-include, but on the other hand it really hurts when you get that Skeleton Knight instead of something useful. Even if you can invest that 400 dust into something else (but your still behind 1200 dust ).

Got a Shadowfiend in a pack. Imo one of the most underrated cards in TGT (cause I've never seen it in any deck). Has a great synergy with Cleric+Circle combo or Power Word: Shield. And it reduces the cost of every drawn card, those drawn at the start of the turn included (something that eluded me before ). Just hide him behind a Taunt and enjoy the value

So, how are your last packs in this year coming Guys? Aside from everyone around me getting Legendaries I've got a decent 40 dust pack for my last one...

Oh and I got a second (third counting the one I dusted) Hungry Crab. Pretty neat, yeah?

My previous 7 packs have had only one epic, lol. Sucks sucks. Ice Block. Well it is ok, if I some day in the future want some type of Control Mage deck. But I have some 1200 Dust, I have some considerations. Which deck should I craft for next, I can't seem to made up my mind.

Handlock - Molten and Mountain Giant (800 Dust)
some Rogue - 2x Preparation (800 Dust)
Control Priest and Warrior - Justicar Trueheart (1600 Dust)

Those are my considerations at the moment. I hear Handlock is weak at the moment but I don't know why exactly. I guess the new aggro Shaman can't be beaten with Handlock. Which is quite popular atm. Against Face Hunter you could taunt your Moltens and win, but Shaman has insane spell burst. Rogue is just fun, I have just been very wary of crafting such "crappy" cards like Preparations. You know, they don't have the wow-factor. Justicar needs a bit more dust but is soo tempting. I'd love her especially in Priest.
