I love the idea of weapons for casters, but I am afraid it will make the classes to similar. In the end making the game boring. 
Aura spells sounds awesome, but needs so much balance and testing for it to work without being imba. But again I am afraid that it will change the recipe for Hearthstone too much

True in a way, but they won't be used for attacking like the "Might Claases" do. Warlock would have a Book of Summoning, Mage a Book of Firebolt (or even Fireball but that sounds OP  ), Priest a Book of Resurrection. I especially like comboing the activation of spells with Inspire mechanic.
Harrison Jones might become too usefull tho, so there is that

I feel your concern is quite accurate emilsn but then again I think minnion has the right point. The solution is to make it different from "Hit stuff with my face to hurt it".
Stuff like +1 Spell Power but loses 1 durability each time you cast a spell or stuff like your heropower heals for 2 more etc. etc. granted I can't think of too many cool things but I'd hope a team of game designers could come up with something cool.

It all depends on how much of a tempo loss those 'Magic" weapons would be. Fiery Win Axe is such a good play cause it can be used at once and in early game where it counts. What good is a weapon that has no immidiate effect on the game? Sure there's Sword of Justice or Coghammer which you might say are 'aura' weapons, but those aren't exactly popular nowadays (well Coghammer lost with the introduction of formats, but I don't exactly see it in Wild either). I don't sense this kind of weapons good for todays meta (though I would love to see them nevertheless).
Let's remember that Inspire is a nice mechanic on paper, but it didn't work out in the end...

Who says that every weapon has to be on the same level as fiery war axe arguably the best card in hearthstone?
Obviously "caster" weapons aren't gonna be played for tempo, stuff like acolyte of pain is a %$&!# tempo play and it still has its place even in this meta.
You could it make with mana cost reduction by the amount of durability and lose 1 durability for each cast or mana used. Or once the weapon is destroyed you get extra mana. Stuff like that. Or use 1 durability to look at the top card of your library then decide whether you want to draw it or shuffle it into your deck and then lose durability.
Like there is a ton of options for non-tempo weapons that can have a place in a fast meta.

We'll have to see... of course if Blizz decides to introduce such weapons. For now it's pure speculation.
Did you guys grab Morgl hero portrait? It's obvious Blizzard still wishes for that Murloc Shaman to work out Didn't want to bother other people so I decided to create another account. Seems it did the trick  I wonder if Blizzard did think this promotion throughtfully. Sure it will grab them some new players, but I think more then that it will spam a lot of 'fake' accounts... you can grab 4 packs aside from Morgl this way so go figure :/
PS: Is it me or does Blizzard not make those free portraits as effective as the paid ones? I'm not whining (they're free afterall), but that's just my impression...

In what way do you feel he is inferior to the paid portraits?
I think he has the same level of polish that every other portrait has (he looks a lot better than Khadgar for example), the only joke is that there are a lot of very cool shamans to choose from in the lore of Warcraft and they had to go with a random murloc they introduce in legion that does nothing but take a weapon from you for like 20 seconds???
That just seems like a dick move especially since there currently aren't any other options for shaman.
Also Blizzard obviously knows this, it's not the first time they've done these promotions it doesn't matter that there'll be a ton of fake accounts, some genuine new accounts are going to stick and then they'll be more than happy. Interestingly they did it shortly after the Old god 13 Pack promo ended.
And uh yeah you can level 4 alts to get 1 pack on your main account... that just seems like an aweful time investment lol. Even if you're super fast getting to level 20 is ~40 minutes so you'd play atleast 3 hours to "cheat" 400 gold worth of rewards. Seems counter productive lol.
But yeah I unlocked him aswell, I like him a lot. I mean I think Thrall was pretty great already but he's very cute and bubbly. Shame that playing shaman does absolutely nothing for me lol.

To be honest I'd rather pay for him then recruit a friend or even create a new account. It's seems bothersome and I do not know people who would wanna play ..
Just lower the price of these dumb alt. portraits to 7,5 dollars or 6,5 euro - or 500g! .. Come on!

Yeah, I really don't understand your whining.
Sure the hero portraits themselves are fairly expensive but they are also 100% optional and nothing but a cosmetic "improvement".
Micro transactions in a f2p game really aren't surprising and the fact that they're doing promotions for people who don't want to spend money on their game, like how is that something to complain about.
If you have enough money to buy heroes good for you, but no reason to put them down over something they hand out for free and takes 40 minutes worth of "effort" (yeah beating the HS ai is really a colossal effort). You say you'd pay and yet at the same time you want them to make stuff cheaper?? Wat? What exactly is it that you're feeling entitled too?

It's my personal taste I guess. I simply think those first three heroes are looking better (intro, hero power animations). But I guess hero portraits are not something to write a book about. I they give them for free it's fine, but I wouldn't want to pay for them.

Yeah, but I bet some guys will try this out nevertheless Even if it's easy to do it seemed to me like too much of a chore...

Seen the new "leaks" for the upcoming expansion? New Expansion
I believe it to be Karazhan for one reason only; Ben Brode once said that he would like to see it as an adventure and that they had already talked about it. (oh and maybe the Medivh and Khadgar portraits were clues as well).

Well, I'd rather see a Pandaria themed adventure. I want more Far East motifs in Hearthstone Besides both Karazhan and Ulduar seem pretty boring as a source for potential new minions. Here, as a reference:
Ulduar bosses. More WotOG?
Karazhan bosses. Maybe a tad more interesting, but still meh.
Or maybe they're waiting with Pandaria to introduce the Monk class?

I would still go for Karazhan, but I have never actually completed both raids in WoW, so I have no real expections or ideas themes what so ever (except what I know from reading on wikipedias)
And please no monk class? I am actually fine with the classes atm and if there should be new class let us be honest; Deathknight first.

Don't remember when I was this salty, as a collector there's no bigger frustration for me then this. I would even settle for some useless Legendaries as long if it weren't doubles. Meanhwile that's 2400 into the gutter...

The only good that comes from this is that I'm close to crafting Al'Akir. Small consolation when taking into account that I crafted Fandral, whereas I still miss quite a few WotOG Legends that I would like to have. And with Pity Timer reset and the Adventure right around the corner I will have to wait a long time for another shot at this.
And about Al'Akir: my friend said his good (got him from a pack), and a guy beat me with him recently in a game I thought I had under control, so that alone made my quite determined to craft him (even more then I was before).
Anywho, Karazhan you say? Damn Blizzard with their announcements of announcements... I don't know if I should start hoarding gold already or not.
