I use Hamachi and it works just fine. I have a Macbook Air, so I use a wineskin wrapper to open the game. Additionally, you should install the HOMM3 HD+ Mod. If you need additional information on how to make this work, please send me a private message and I will guide you through. It took a long time for me to figure this out (on my own), so I would be glad to share my knowledge.

Thanks, I'm using the HD+ mod already. It's amazing.
Like I said though, I really don't want to use Hamachi again. It really screwed up my PC in the past.

Guys, we have a problem:
- aps in the game are very large.
- The maps are a lot of buildings, units, etc., etc.
On the maps size * G *, much faster we achieve level 25.
After reaching lvl character further development boils down to click OK and see who will get the ability to "+1".
* The saddest thing in this is that if our (eg.) Defense reaches the magic mark of "99" continued its development is stopped and although they get to the next lvl 1 to defend it will not be included, nor when visiting a facility that gives + 1 to defend terminus. Defense lvl 99 - the end.
I do not know why such a restriction, except just to look nice statistical window. One would have to reduce the font size to the 100 to fit and would look less aesthetically?!
Because certainly not about the magical borders 100 points of defense, because, for example. Angel is no defense 30 + 99 character which gives 129 points of defense. So now a lot more than the limit of 99.

Next thing:
Grail in Tower. I checked how long it takes one round when we uncovered the full map and 7 opponents - 24 seconds takes us from the life of the computer - when we have different castle round takes two seconds. Now let's count the first month let's say that a round lasts 24 seconds and 22 seconds so 22 seconds * 28 days gives us 7 minutes and 33 seconds, which we have quietly cool one's heels.
Without grail: 2 * 28 = 56 seconds - of course later this could lengthen because in the end the enemy to punish but anyway.
What to do ? Answer: (example of my idea):
Grail does not reveal the whole map in the game.
Grail is placed on the mini map all the castles and heroes. (For example, click on the mini map opens a bigger window)
For greater comfort of the game to add a separate tables in a game where they will be enemy castles with their heroes.
Grail can "enter" and preview enemy castles and heroes.
Castles - which units are in the castle, which to recruit, etc., etc.
Heroes - their stats, skills, units, artifacts. all.
Is Grail of city of Tower is needed? Probably not. Why?
Grail mostly dug in advanced gameplay on the map. Almost never in the beginning we do not have it. We have to visit the obelisks, which are all over the map. I repeat all over the map.
So now we have to build it almost uncovered the entire map. )
If we Grail at the beginning - is even worse. What we need to turn to wait for the the computer.

Lord Haart - the character of the castle has the ability to finance 5%. All nicely but should be information about how much it actually gives you money.

Really impressive work, DrSlash! I especially like male Druid, female Planeswalker, both new Tower heroes and your decision to switch both vanilla Stronghold heroes to Might.
And punk Sephinroth also fits nicely to Dungeon style
Concerning unique campaign hero models, I guess that would not be worth it at the moment, because the only campaigns playable with HotA are HotA campaigns, but not normal campaigns RoE, AB, SoD (oh wait that HotA Nix hero might look great with an own model ).
Also let's enjoy what's coming up in this patch instead of yearning for always more. I really like how the crew constantly improves the game without any hurry, but only after thorough consideration. By doing so, the game has reached a very good state already!

Your work gives us a lot of fun. I know that you have to reconcile private affairs, working life, with work on the this project...
I think that all the fans of HoTa, as far as their financial capacity, should, even symbolically, to support people of team.
Is there any official bank account?

Very good job! I am looking forward to see those heroes walking through the map.
I guess most of the work is done in 2D. Is there any 3D model available in stl or similar? I mean files without edit possibility but valid for 3D printing. Not an important issue, but it would be nice to have some Heroes III creatures on my desk . Maybe a bit too freaky, he he.

The team has stated a bunch of times they do not wish to gain money off of this project in any form. There's no official bank account as a result.

All copyright belongs to Ubisoft. Unless Hota team doesn't earn money it's (almost) ok. It's principle rule in modding world.

When you know the market... You still can help... do some stuff in blender, and get into HotA team yourself. They're recruiting for quite a long time now, while quite nobody wants to be part of the team. You get background knowledge before updates come out and you can be part of the team you admire.
I would participate myself but I got snowing no time actually :/ worked for 16 hours straight now... with some little breaks just for eating. Now I'm not in the mood for anything, 'til tomorrow... learning again.

Okey, I understand, but, they can ask for donation, not associated with the project....
For example, in Poland (depending on the tax bracket in which you are) you can get donation in the amount of 4902 PLN (71353 RUB) per person, and you don't have to settle this with the tax office.
@P4R4D0X0N - I mean, I know the prices of services on the market...
unfortunately I am not a professional graphic designer. I do simple graphics for their own needs.

Well, that is incorrect as a matter of fact). We are getting quite a few admissions on a regular basis. Less of those not speaking in russian obviously, but just last year we've had 2 new english speaking members and a few external non-russian helpers.
