I can't locate ZCRTRAIT.TXT and ZCRGN1.TXT anywhere, they're not in h3bitmap.lod, nor in my Data folder.
I have the CRTRAITS.TXT and CRGEN1.TXT, but no WoG creatures like the Supreme Archangel, etc. (although they show up in the map editor and are playable in-game), so the file must be somewhere...searching through Windows' function didn't turn anything up :/

I guess you are using Era, not old WoG. In Era platform WoG is one of Era's mod so WoG files are gather in *.pac files under Era/mods/WoG/data directory. Of course pac files can be edited by the same software than lod files.

trying to finish an area on one of my maps, i had to come up with a new arcane tower. i looked through everything i could find online that said, "arcane" to me, and i found this as an idea:
and using the old arcane tower and some other graphics, i made this:
it's my first try, so don't laugh. i think it looks pretty good, altho maybe the floating doorway needs more depth added to it; but damned if i know how.
edit: the entire object is supposed to be floating, in case you're wondering. maybe if i animated it to, it would look better.

Eventually you can make the upper part moving up and down by 1 pixel increment so it indeed looks like flying.

it's all flying, actually. the staircase, the pieces of the tower, and the tower itself. it should look better when i animate everything seperately, and drop the shadow more.

Recently I extracted some graphic from Disciples 2 and I was wondering how cool to see them in Heroes 3.
     
Theorethically I have all graphics needed to create def files like DIRTTL.def, Snowtl.def, Lavatl.def and so on, but... I have no skills with 2D graphic. But, if somebody is interested, all extracted resources are here: https://www.mediafire.com/?rxd9s2lcvr4l8r8

Usually right-clicking on it and select "download" works. 
I don't know if it is any work in progress, saw it in russian wog forums, not connected with anything.

The original was HERE, and the russian description on the right says "Queen Catherine", by Viomen. Thats all I can dig.

I've extracted (almost all I think) spells animations from Disciples 2 game and made def files. Maybe someone wants to use it - replace standard H3 spell animation for example
