Let us start with the idea that the president is just a representative of the power behind him. JFK was cowardly killed in the back by his own "fellows". If it were so simple to kill a president just by sending a bullet to a head, there would be a certain statistics by now. Since the JFK case, all the president of the U.S.A. are safe and sound. This smells like corruption.

no disagreement outta me. just how people see the jfk assassination as a "conspiracy theory", is stupid.

i mean, look what lbj did after he became big cheese.  u.s. troop involvement in vietnam rose by how many percent?

ever get the idea that the people who push agenda's, are of the war-happy type? the way i see it, is the u.s. involvement overseas(since after ww2, anyway) in foreign conflicts, are to deliberately destabilize the conflict zones(and hopefully, the surrounding areas. the more the merrier, right?). and who are they looking to come out on top? the u.s.

they want the whole world to be no match for the u.s.   which is why they ever get involved in the first place. hell, that's why ANY nation gets involved in foreign conflicts. it's never about "atrocity". if anything, they'll COMMIT the atrocities, just to stay on top.

and while i understand "nation" logic, i don't agree with the morality behind it. i think people, as a whole, can do better. they just never try, and they don't bother with a societal model that they feel might weaken them for external(or even internal) attack.

Brain fodder

Not a perfect place to put this but since the topic of the talk greatly affect politics everywhere in the world including the U.S. I think it relates to some effect. After all, people are making the connection between the ultra upper crust ruling our election process...so yeah, imo...it connects.

David Harvey: The crisis of planetary urbanization https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeFkasoah00

This dude gives another talk called "The End of Capitalism" that also relates to a general discussion.

Poor Jeb. The Onion shows no mercy:
Quote:
CORAL GABLES, FL - Noting how he repeatedly stumbled over his words and struggled to formulate convincing and consistent responses when asked by his wife about how he slept and what he wanted to have for breakfast, sources confirmed Monday that former presidential candidate Jeb Bush bungled numerous questions on his first day back at home. "You see - the thing is, breakfast - there are a number of options," said Bush, anxiously reaching for a sip of water after delivering a meandering aside about why pancakes would be a reasonable choice, before awkwardly transitioning to a clumsy, forced anecdote about some bacon he recently had. "It's an important question - you know what? Eggs. That'll be - yes. Mmhmm." Sources further reported Bush appeared helpless and forlorn after his request was drowned out by the louder, more confident answers from his children seated around the dining room table.

Super Tuesday looms ahead. The polls so far seem to indicate a crushing victory for Clinton on the dems side. If Clinton wins 10/11 states I think the race is over. If Bernie gets Massachusetts and Oklahoma.. then there is a teeny tiny change his campaign can go on.

Republican side is a bit more chaotic, and very hard to say what happens. Except that Trump is leading, as before. And could win as much as 10 states, lol... Yeah, the one who is endorsed by Klu Klux Klan. What is wrong with you america, seriously

I disagree.  People are angry and afraid.  Trump has been masterfully feeding off those emotions.  People are angry about 1) the current administration for not being aligned with their beliefs/perceived failures/whatever and 2) the "establishment" being completely out of touch with American voters.  Trump has been using that sentiment to sore above the competition, appearing as some incorruptible paragon who cannot be bought like your average politician.  People are afraid about immigration and Trump is playing right into their hands with his absurd wall rhetoric and anti-Islam sentiment.  To those so angry and so afraid, Trump comes across as a sincere candidate who genuinely supports them.  As I said earlier, never underestimate anger and fear in politics.

Clinton, on the other hand, absolutely reeks of desperation; willing to resort to anything to secure power.  I think she will take an absolute thrashing in the election.  She will be painted as a member of the establishment, a failure, blamed for Benghazi, being a career politician who is easily bought by corporate dollars, etc.  She is also associated with what a great deal of anger is focused at: the Obama administration.  Rightfully or wrongfully, she will be associated and ultimately blamed for its failings.

Honestly, the whole thing is absurd.  I was hoping for a Trump/Sanders pairing due to how outside of the norm it would be.
