Basic version is nice. Could have bigger hands and claws to actually dig around more effectively. Upgrade is boring and there is something weird going on in the back of his head.
Medusa
Nothing bad to say about her. Looks nice. Hair is a bit yuck and the staff seems too heavy... it should be slimmer. But overall decent.
Soulless
Here we go..... I hate him He is not scary at all. Just really annoying! Like a stupid mime with hes invisible walls. He doesnt fit the line up at all. I cant believe they created something like that in the first place. I am so frustrated at the moment.... I hate him! I want my Manticore!!
Minotaur
Looks good. Thank god they didnt mess him up.
Overall conclusion:

I agree fully. The Minotaur and Medusa look decent, the rest are different degrees of bad. The two elven units are downright horrible. The Trog is boring. And the Strider, while good enough of sorts, is such a bland concept that it seems a slap in the face to replace a classic creature like the Manticore for this. I hate this idea of "renewing" the series just for the sake of renewing it. The Faceless at least seemed to fill a meaningfull role as the anti-angel of darkness, but this just seems plain pointles.

Well that's what we voted, I guess. Flaw of proposed line-ups.
Please, let's stop excusing them with "that's what we voted". We did NOT vote that we wanted the Strider! We got presented with three choices that ALL had something we wanted and something we did NOT want, and in the end, the choice with the Medusa won. That was NOT a yes to the Strider.

I think the anti-hype has gotten to me. So much hate towards the Strider/Soulless leading up to the reveal, and then... it's just a spindly, twisty dude. Feels kinda anti-climactic.
Not to say that I dislike it or anything. Just that I was expecting either something completely trainwreck bad or mindblowingly good. What we got... I dunno, just doesn't feel like the hype/hate was worth it.

Generally I like elite more than core creatures
Medusa - I like her, even though the design reminds of coral priestess too much; the color scheme, the red color of upgrade is very nice replacement of purple
Minotaur - Obviously the model will be from HVI but that's not a problem for me because I liked HVI minotaur (the unupgraded one  ) thank god it's not purple but grey/black, and the armour is nice reminds me of HIII minotaur, according to the beta files minotaur will be the strongest elite, my favourite dungeon creature next to medusa and unupgraded troglodyte 
Strider - very mixed feeling about it, even though it fits dungeon as a puppet of faceless it lacks something, idk maybe with some weapon or another set of arms, it's just right now it doesn't seems like a elite creature, maybe it's just concept art
idea for a mod, because it seems to me strider fits more core, maybe good would be replaced assassin with strider and add manticore from HVI in its place (with desaturated purple ) this way we could have manticore again and there would be only one dark elf, what do you guys think ?

Oh, I am perfectly aware of that. I am just saying how many proposed lurker or manticore to Ubi, but nothing happened.

I believe that the point is to make it a little bit mysterious. Like, you know, how does it attack if it does not even has a weapon?! And then you realize the it will come close to you and give you a deadly hug... He is slow.. but inexorable. And it's make me scary.

Also a little bit stupid. Disappointed, the unit had so much potential and they went with creepy mime.

Something I remembered from the beta, the only "big" creatures in dungeon (except champions of course) are minotaur and strider, which now when i saw it seems weird because it is so thin and tall it's going to occupy 2x2 ? hmmm

It would make more sense if strider was multilimbed creature...
Now that Medusa is perfection!!! I didn't really believed that it is possible to beat H3 Medusa in terms of unit's appearance. But they just did. Nice!

Well, it could look quite imposing if its really tall and needs 2x2 squares for its "bizare" movement over the battlefield.
