Well, you can't exactly get these skills and abilities on level 1. If I remember correctly, you need to take all abilities before improving the skill to upgrade it. So, it could be like level 5, at least.

Skill seems terribly OP. Don't like a generalizes stealth concept, feels misplaced with some creatures and lacks uniqueness. Meh.

So, dungeon is allowed to "sneak" around battlefield to get those perfect flaking hits (backstabs), will do damage while moving through enemies (and in "stealth") and always try to eat retaliations to get extra strikes via coordination.

overall, it doesn't sound too OP for me, like with the orcs at least. If coordination end up too strong, they can make the extra strike do a fraction of damage (70%, 50%, ..)

Need to check if there are skills that make a unit retaliate, no matter what. I remember in h6, sanctuary had something like that, it seems aoe spells will be something to keep them "visible". Also, a decent amount of skills only work for melee (weak spot, dead angle, coordination).

and yeah, sexy sneaky hydra ftw lol

For stalker too IMO(though I suppose you can consider them as same unit, just shooter form) I think the stealth aspect and flanking is something that should've been done to specifcally to to units like these rather than as whole system. Also for strike-and-return units such as harpy it would seem very logical. I wonder if it's possible to turn off the flanking in general and have it in use only for specified units...(Kinda doubt that though since it's one of game core mechanics, but one can at least hope).

Flanking mechanich is silly and should be removed imo, or changed so you actually require 2 stacks in oppossite sides to really flank something. It's just silly how it works in game right now.

About being OP, not really, if you are against Dungeon, i would guess it works as always, so you can remove stealth using AOE spells beforehand.

Racials should have been roughly of same importance as other skills so as to be a matter of choice And current flanking is just disappointing.

Where does this idea come from that shrouded units are invisible? The way i read the explanation, it only allows units to pass through other units and gives them some buffs on higher levels.

i guess i will be using some sort of slow spell to counter dungeon creatures/hero, since they have huge adventage with shroud and annoying broken "invisable" mechanic... im glad we get to try dungeon at second beta. if this turns out to be highly broken and stupid to play againts, i may really reconsider giving up on game. h6 dungeon racial was something similair to this and it ruined my fun greatly: only reveals after it attacks? hells no, thats stupid as snow.

Too bad slow/haste is an area spell rather than mass one...

Actually, you're right. Must've been reading into it too much. So if we really stick to what it's said, Shroud of Malassa makes creatures incorporeal when facing enemy creatures. Minotaurs and Black Butterflies going through you.

Still seems stupid. Gone are the warlocks days when it was all about powerful magic, huh.

Darkness is hip nowadays and Ashan is verry dark. To the team's credit though, they focus a lot on opportunism and the shroud supports that kind of gameplay so..

exactly, that's why I used quotes.
Shroud just means you can pass through units which would be equivalent to 'sneaking in the battlefield' (lore). People got confused because lore description I guess.
