Let me guess, most of the art is from Duel of Champions?
Anyway, the unpacking was quite a long time. I can admit there was a feeling... when watching this video. No hate, but some sort of anticipation. Well, besides that spider.
Well, I wouldn't blindly make pre-orders, but maybe there is a worthy game that could deserve my money. Someday.

Who knows, they just made Fortress and Inferno themes just in case they won the votes, maybe they will in the future? I don't know.

Wow.. reading the coments here I'm asking myself if I'm playing the same game
Status report
After 6+ hours of gameplay
0 crashes. Works fine. Some minor graphic glitches. No problems runing the game on my lower the miniml req. machine.
AI turn are between 5-20s not longer.
The campaigne look rather easy on normal.. maybe aa bit to easy. :-/
Wonder how the custom games will look like.

Reporting the same thing beside I'm play on high settings and only 1 crash after few hours.

5 hours in, lots of fun. I enjoy it, no gamebreaking bugs like in H6, no crashes.

I can sign this + I tried Solmyr's bonus scenario and its very interesting.
Playing on Windows10 (64bit) like a charm (did the "verify game files" trick).

Played for 2,5 hours, taking my time. No crashes, which was a welcome change from the beta. Some glitches, but nothing extreme or gamebreaking. On highest settings, the game runs smooth (i7 core, 8 GB memory, GTX 670).

After listening to both I REALLY like the fortress theme and I am quite sad they lost. From the song I get the idea of hardy folk dealing with the problems that the other factions have no idea about.
Or not realizing what they do to defend the lands when the demons pop up from the volcanoes.
The inferno theme? I don't really like it per say but I get the idea behind the song I think. I imagine its someone who looks at all the grand offers and powers that chaos and urgash provides. Then the song changes to reflect how said person will become corrupted without realizing it until its too late. Then they will be just another demon spreading corruption and chaos.
Considering the theme of the campaign was going to be how one gets corrupted by inferno/chaos I think the song fits really well.

Life steal on my vampires only properly works about 15% of the time. It doesn't resurrect anything making it pointless.

Buy 2 native heroes from tavern = EASY MODE
This resembles heroes VI but to a lesser extent. Nevertheless if you buy 2 heroes you can wipe week 1 without any problems. It wasn`t in CB2, why did they break the game again?
@Dave with this easy mode custom games will look easy and boring.
In CB2 the most challenging map was Fire and Blood, now with 3 native heroes I don`t need to buy troops from town - it is that easy and I upped the difficulty level of the guards... Did I get better at heroes? No... just the tavern rules !
