Most likely they will, but there is nothing any of us can do about it. It would be nice to have a statement from Ubisoft about this, but as ChrisD1 said, there most likely had been cheating on multiple sides.

Marzhin I hope there will be a check in the votes for multi-accounts. Or for example the accounts created less than 2 weeks ago could be excluded, whatever is easy enough to do(and I do realize this would delete some authentic votes too)... There has been encouragement to make new accounts at least twice on the forums(https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog) on the current elven line-up vote. We all want a fair vote in here I'm sure. I hope to hear an announcement regarding this during or after the vote and that votes from multi-accounts will be voided/nullified in the final count.

Also Fury description says guerrilla-warfare, but the description after speaks nothing of relation to guerrilla warfare. And in last sentence "The CHAMPIONS are PROTECTED BY TREANTS and Dryads... " You have already confirmed that only one champion is chosen and Treant is champion here if it's in the battle-field... Did somebody who isn't really aware of things write this or was the description based on some original/raw line-up instead the current one?
And 3rd for next votes especially if you do it with line-ups, could you make it closed ballot voting. There is a lot of comments that just state along the lines: "Say no to snakes, phoenixes, unicorns, blade dancers or stags etc.", so just voting against something rather than voting for their favourite. Frankly this current vote is shreading the community apart badly.

What is happening is that after reading the comments, there seem to be a lot of new accounts appearing and most have very strong opinions and dislikes to certain people/subjects. Some have had even the writing style as the same and choice of words. Worst was having one name just written backwards. And I did explain that basically in the first post, that this was 2nd time already that somebody is asking or hoping that people make new accounts for votes.
Besides there should be no harm in making sure that the voting is fair, wouldn't you agree? Nobody loses in that except cheaters and we'll have clear field, better for everybody. I think there are probably multi-accounts in every option, but most in balance and fury.

Do not be fooled, I am not Galaad.
So do not discount people quoting other people.

To be clear, I didn't say quote. Having choice of words can be like somebody says: guys, brothers, comrades etc. OR writing same word differently from somebody like ybisoft instead of ubisoft for example.
Consider this: if nobody will monitor/check for multi-accounts the winners will regardless be hearing that the vote was rigged, unfair victory and so on. Normally this might not be so that much, but since people have been encouraged to make new accounts at least twice it will leave bad taste from the vote to everybody. Checking that it's fair vote will simply clear the field for everybody.

the vote already has a bad taste because of this.
everybody changing their votes in the end just to see fury fall (as they have stated) instead of just saying "i'll go with my second favorite" leaves a very bitter tasting voting process.
people encouraging other people to change just for the sake of a line up failing instead of theirs to succeed is the same as people encouraging the multi accounts thing.
and guess what! all three sides have done those things!
the voting process was wrong from the start for not giving us ALL the info we needed to vote. THE END!

Fury has been in lead for several days now, has it not? I wasn't asking for checking until there was 2nd time somebody asks to make new accounts... Until more pre-made agenda accounts seemed to be surfacing...
As for how I know which account is new... I don't for sure. I did check many of the accounts by searching for their other replies and all the replies were made last night/evening. Many accounts have been coming up like that. And they talked about things that had been said days ago. I really doubt so many people read days back and had so strong opinions as they had about matters and writers.
And what you said about everybody cheating... Then it would matter who cheats the most, wouldn't it? Very hard to imagine that everybody would cheat equally, but I can't deny that it's possible. Still nobody loses if they check for cheating, it will clear the field and fury will truly be recognized as fair victory(if they win) so it's actually better for fury to have the check.
And about being paranoid about fury... That's not very accurate as I was one of those people saying I doubt they cheated the 10-12% increase they originally gained over-night basically.
PS I have stayed with my choice since the start of the vote regardless the situation with other two factions and I did say originally that I would vote fury as 2nd choice on https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog if my choice wasn't going to make. I don't vote against, I vote for.

I was actually quite flattered.
However, I was also trying to preempt accusations of us being the same person, who might be using multiple accounts for nefarious reasons.

You prefer strength? Good for you, you are more than entitled to your choice and personal preference but don't tell me it's about history consinstency!
You prefer balance second? Super cool,but don't go around saying you will change your vote JUST for the fury line-up to not win, especially when you think it's cool.
Although the result wil be the same (a vote will be changed) I'd rather see someone doing it FOR his second best and not AGAINST another line-up. It's vexing seeing how MY choice is getting trampled like that with those shenanigans, but seeing this is done INTENTIONALLY makes it way worse.
Think what you want but be more proper here. Because the minute someone says that "hey tell your friends to vote for fury" someone's gonna go "eww cheating!Such a shame, lets check".
But what you do can be considered cheating alright nomatter how legit it may seem. Do things FOR YOUR PREFERENCE first,not against other people's choices! It's your intention that's foul here not the action of changing your vote.

I do not vote against Fury, I vote for what I think is best for the franchise, on top of my personal preference. Fury being the most distant alternative regarding Heroes of Might and Magic's original lore and history -values which imo has to be respected- it is my very last choice. This is not a hate comment, please stop accusing me like that, it is pure defamation.
