Yes it does. In the scenario you pose you are restricted yes, but the school you are restricted to should be different from the schools you do not have. The spells you have should be different to the ones you get when you use light. Mind you cannot just lump the spells we have now and fix the problem you have to make new ones to if you want an actual solution. The difference of spell school should be obvious not subtle.

But above this schools must be coherent with skill system, faction specialties, and lore. You must not just provide varied gameplay, but add some sense to it. You can't just say "7 schools are bad" or "7 schools are good". It's not how it works. It's like saying "Digging is bad, but driving nails is good".

Although I consider Erwan responsible for the series' current state, I find this trolling quite offensive.

I am not saying 7 schools is "bad" so much as it is not working well at this moment if they can find a way for it to work in a non-repetitive way in the future than great. I just personally believe a smaller number of schools would work better at providing a deeper and more meaningful magic system that could also synergize with the skill system, faction specialties, and even lore after all H5 took place in the same universe.

The trolling is strong with this one.

Same, what I am seeing on the website is immaturity and further proves to me how low this community can go. The fact that people approve of this is disappointing as well.

Point proven again. No matter what you think of the game no one deserves to be insulted like this.

I'm on Academy Map 3 and i already finished Necro campaign. Which one would you suggest to play next? I'm undecided between Haven and Dungeon since i dont really like what i have seen of both stories but i do like their lineups.

Is it possible to set aggressivity of neutral stacks in the RMG (with some differences) ? Or should it be done one by one ?

But Erwan insults us with such decisions. So yes, he deserves that.
I mean, he released two games with such negative criticism. One sign should've been enough that he is doing wrong and should either change or leave.

Just to give my 2 cents about new Heroes game:
Tried it at my brother's. Like the basis of the game, but won't buy it, because it will be hardly playable on my PC, and it doesn't deserve anyone's money, given the state in that it is currently.
Positives:
- Mechanic more close to old titles, no magic cool-downs being the most important. Magic heroes in general feel more capable.
- It has the graphics (but with better creature design) and town control area system of Heroes 6 , which were the only things that I liked about that game
- Factions and creatures are great apart from few creatures.
- Town building seems cool I like what they have done with it.
- Skill system is a bit restrictive, but was still fun to me.
Negatives:
- TERRIBLE optimization. I think that we have found the worst optimized game (except new Batman and MKX on launch) right now. Seriously, game wold have to look 10x better for that kind of requirements. Yes, you can run it comfortably on i7 6-core with 8GB of RAM but for a turn-base game with Unreal Engine 3 that's really shameful. With that kind of graphic that we have in game requirements would have to be somewhere around those of Heroes 6.
- AI is dumb as brick and slow as a snail. Enough said. I just cant believe that they actually advertised "expert AI" in the trailer. Shameful...
- Loading times are enough for me mo make my launch and to eat it too before map loads.
- Animations. Feel so cheap. I won't be playing the campaigns even if I get the game once (if ever) its fixed, because I have zero interest in Ashan whatsoever after H5 campaigns, but just had to see those talking statues everyone is talking about...
Man, if that doesn't turn off the new players, nothing will.
- Goddamn blue Bambi in Sylvan lineup. Don't recruit those until you upgrade them, seriously. And yes - upgrading now means transgender operation? That's so wrong...
Not really sure:
- Leveling seamed a bit too fast.
- Flanking system didn't bring anything really important to me, don't hate it, but don't like it ether.
- Striders. I really can't decide what do I think about them...

Speaking of leveling it is absurd and they said on stream they upped the level requirements. Since when?..Heroes VI? I checked in H5 you need 785 K for level 30 and now 486 K .. and don`t forget we can kill more neutrals now when they are soooo retarded. So the game must twice as short and we have level cap wohooo

That it's true. I'll admit that making fun of him like that is bad, even if I'm not involving myself in such comments.
But you can't forget that people are venting their frustations with the game using the most public face of Ubisoft M&M brand. Doesn't make it any good but...

Whatīs happening on SC is repulsing and shameful. I really hope they shut the commenting section down for good and direct ppl to the Ubi-forums instead.
And ppl can justify their behaviour on SC best they want. Itīs still entitled, spoiled and hateful.

Yup, partly the reason why I am somewhat tired of this community. It is darn right repulsive.
