Eh, you're right. They can't be offended as they don't read these posts.
But it would be nice to see more different comments about anything else. Reading the same (or very similar) comments 1000x is boring - and writing them pointless because these comments are being read only by the people who already know what the situation is like. Even spamming Ubisoft how bad job they do would be more efficient.

And Ubi can already rely on fans from their other games, those games they still didn't screw up, that is.
I felt an urge to play a remake of MM7 just now.

I do like the new townscreen. It is still cartoonish but it does make more sense than the rest.

still really inconsequential buildings...
would it hurt them to switch places with the eternal flame and burning mountain and make the burning mountain much bigger? Seriously, it's the champ creature! why isn't it getting the most impressive building!?
but yeah, general aesthetics are great.
still not getting why buildings you have too choose between are in different places either... if you didn't do that (have them in the same place) you'd have more space to work with for example and there wouldn't be a bunch of empty spaces.

While it looks relatively nice, it still has perspective issues. Building 18 looks totally out of place with respect to the viewing angle, compared to the overall view of that particular area. That's just at a quick glance, though.

The townscreen looks underwhelming. Plain and boring, and once again I get the feeling that the artist has a serious issue with perspective. I don't know if it's intended, like in a cartoon, but it gives me a bad impression...

Find it a bit simple, cluttered, giving the feeling of unsafe, actually, and not because of lava, but because of the chambers showing back there, which give the impression it is easy to be trapped and attacked. Other than that, sort of agree with the fact it feels bland and dead. Guess the feeling lingers even when animated ... it's as if the whole thing could be only one dwelling, and again, it feels like like no one lives there.

Me? Banned? Here? NOT! Only renewed my membership, that's all.
Been able to post here under that new membership account for years, now.
Re-registered at Celestial Heavens as a totally new member under a totally new ownership(Kalah). And, the change of ownership has literally been proven a huge mistake. Most members weren't around for more than a decade and, most of its site's activities died out ever since HoMM6 was launched. ALL forums of that site is non-active and, most of the latest posts of this month of July 2016 are my own. Just ask PandaTar and Avonu, they both could tell you a much longer and wider story about Celestial Heavens and its puzzlement at shutting down for good(permanently).
At Capcom's forums: No activity what-so-ever. for about 2 whole years.
I am still banned at Ubisoft.com/Forums for an eternity. Since, I do not remember posting anything there, for at least a whole decade. But, through Uplay, I am a valued member and, fully active(not forums though)on both PC gaming and Console gaming(Xbox 360-2014 with 2015 O.S.).
I think, that I should open a new topic thread on the Heroes 5 Forum in Celestial Heavens in order to update/upgrade the true status of HoMM5:Tribes of The East version 3.0 and stating that its only patch of 3.1 has been officialized by fans and owners of the game ever since the year 2008(8 whole years ago). That's if, the site is still up and running, of course.
In conclusion: Forum posting is ancient online stuff and got replaced by all these chatting and texting mediums that are mostly used on smart-phones and tablet computers of today. Many people that I enjoyed playing Hot-Seat games with, have gotten rid of their PCs for these mobile devices. It is my deep knowledge of technology that keeps my mind sharp and, still values high end and way more performant computers as of the right now world. Stationary consoles and computers are, still in very large demand and, with a comfortable/stable future ahead of them.

I share the feeling of disappointment with heroes 7 and the current development team... that said, this latest faction has got some neat stuff.
Ok, the were-hamster is an oddball, and the lava elemental just feels really forced as an idea. There's still some of the ostentatious and overblown present to a degree, but really, most of the design work is not bad.
This is some of the best use of colors they've utilized on units --- who else digs that Valkyrie and its color palette? Let me put it this way: on a scale of quality coloring, this faction represents the best for a Ubisoft faction, whereas the green-happy ad nauseating Spiderpolis and H6 Dungeon are the absolute worst (ever...).
The townscreen is alright. What it has going for it is the fact that there is nothing about it that pointlessly distracts, i.e. the stupidly HUGE dragon statue for haven or the snowing spider legs annoyingly sprung up from the earth for Necropolis.
This shows improvement at least in the aesthetics department.
Still, i absolutely want to see the Heroes franchise in the hands of a better company and development team who proves competent in all aspects of the heroes gaming experience.

I don't like haven and necropolis townscreens, also not much the academy one. The rest of them are fine, including this new one. However there are many things I care about more than about townscreens.

It's easy. TS weren't in any priority and the artist hired to do them was either an amateur or had no experience in such things. He/she did no research and just presented something as fast possible. That's all.
