Just saw the news and I'm in snowing tears at this snow show. I'm tempted to buy the expansion just to give it an abysmally negative review exposing what an abomination it is and then refund it. That's literally the only reason I'd buy it. Ubisoft with Team Erwan and Limbic have effectively killed this legendary franchise with their incompetence, about the only noteworthy achievement in their miserable snowing lives. Congratulations.

Which was my first comment in the VIP forum when I got to test it. Of course they didn't listen, but hey, the feedback from the community is very valuable.
Oh and 30€ is freaking inisulting for the people who already have the game and paid full price for it. This standalone smelled to cash grab from the get go anyway.

It's even better. You must complete all 6 Fortress maps, before you could start Ivan's campaign.

How come I don't see the expansion on the front page of steam? They even advertise all kinds of smaller publications there usually... Will be interesting to see if the expansion makes to the 10 sales list or just go forgotten by everybody

Erwan? A bunch of students from a German Univesity did!
Btw, I watched the https://www.twitch.tv/evil_entertainment to see a bit of this abomination, and the thing that hits me (aside from the fugly colors of this game that is) is that all I hear is H6 battle music. Not only did they reuse units (so-called NEW neutrals) they even reused music from H6 in this game...
