Well, just as long no one reads the descriptions, they can look at the cool art and pronounce Landsk-whatever all they want. Cuz if they actually see that even the Celestial is part human...

Which we've known since the last game....

Which "we"? Newcomers don't know this.
Anyway, I feel a bit disappointed about the Haven Champs. I dunno, this, the all pick skill system... I'm starting to lose my faith.

Those of us that played the last game. Further more, do newcomers care? Do they come for the lore? Or do they come for the gameplay?
Also, this faith of yours. So rock solid it was, but a few weeks ago. And look at it now....
Edit:
Something I am more curious about, upon closer inspection is something else.
In HVI, the Seraph was the upgrade of the Celestial.
In HVII, the Celestial is the upgrade of the Seraph.
How curious this is. Is this a typo or does someone have some explaining to do?I was mistaken.

So you expect newcomers to go and play H6 in order to learn this rather trivial piece of, well, trivia? One that even the characters of the time seemed uninterested in?
I don't know why you are disappointed now, as we knew these guys were in from the beginning. You should have been disappointed, and stayed disappointed.
Either way, I'm fine with this. People asked them to change the name from Swordbearer, and it got changed. Even more so, it's identifiably German/Dutch/ so forth, so that's a plus to me.
Still, since there are still Seraphs/Celestials, as opposed to full bodied Angels, I wonder what the Faceless are doing. I still don't know why Faceless were elites as opposed to champions, and now it seems that Celestials aren't as good as a real Angel, so Faceless should, at least to me, be equals to them.

Seraphs were the unupgraded in both games, it seems. Seraphs were the upgraded in H5, but to Angels. Which, name wise, still doesn't make sense.

Not in my version of the game. And I'm playing the regular, updated English version + expansion.
I stand corrected. I checked again.

I'm also not very impressed by the Swordmaster, but Celestials look really cool.
Considering the skill system, people are seemingly forgetting main season why skill picking in H6 sucked : It was extremely simple, and even more important - some skills were obviously better choice than the rest, therefore they were always picked and it made the game boring.
All-pick Skill Wheel has potential to be a good way if they make most of the build paths exclusive, but also balanced, so you can make a different hero each time that will be equally useful but in other way. Yes, it it hard to make, but not impossible. So, considering that I'm not a great fan of randomness in skill choice, I think that it still can be the best skill system yet if they put some serious effort in it.

Quote: I have seen a Swordmaster behead a Bloodrage-empowered Cyclops with one single blow of his sword. If these phenomenal warriors were not so rare, Wizards wouldn’t have needed to create Orcs in the first place.
So how exactly would one behead a creature that's several metres taller than you? Lol....
Also don't like how they made it sound like orcs would be useless if swordmasters were more common.
Other than that, it's a cool unit. Barbarian warlord lol

I think it's the desperation to put it on par with the other champions that's speaking more.

Meh, I actually like this unit. It feels more like something that Orcs would wield, rather than Haven. Another fully armored regular sized human would have been boring...
But yeah, the flavour text makes no sense.
I'd choose Swordmasters over boring angels or these mixed angels/humans for sure.

Do you not see the loaded springs in his boots? How else can he do it?
And, probably because they seem to be as fierce as an orc, and arguably as strong/stronger. There just aren't throngs of them, which you can get from Orcs.

because you carry a big-@ss sword,a little bit more dragon blood runs in your veins and you actually have a functioning brain unlike most orcs.
