For now, my vote goes to the Dark Elves. I was disappointed with the H6 expansion lineup, but we shall see if we get more info.
For a matriarchal society, it's got a lot of powerful male figures. Fair enough, that makes them somewhat interesting...
BUT! I've been thinking about voting for Inferno from a storyline standpoint. H7 is not an eclipse story, so it'll be interesting to see a demon in the council. NO Kyril/Agrael inwardly "good" characters please. If we can somehow get information that the character destined to be in the council is some sick, twisted, self-serving a-hole with a hidden agenda (sure to create conflict with the other council members of course), BUT whose skills and knowledge are key to Ivan's succession... then I'll vote for them. It'd be interesting to see Ivan rise to power with some backhanded tactics influenced by the demon rep. And for history to conceal Ivan's deals with demons to preserve his reputation- oooh gets me excited.
More info please. What can we expect (faction wise, game play wise, story wise... ideally all three) from either faction?

What's with people hating on boobs!?!?!?!? It's a game, if the armour isn't realistic, it's probably because it's a game. Plus boobs are good. Before anyone loses their minds over this comment I'm far from sexist, nor am I deprived of anything. I'm just a red blooded male. Give me beer boobs and video games and I'm pretty happy

I did. But it makes no guarantees. I'm looking for more solid commitments story wise and character wise... And I really need to know more about who this potential demon councilor might be and his or her relation with the other councillors.
Essentially, I don't want any copouts where we get a hardly interesting kyril/agrael type.

You understand that Spy Master will tell the story of Dungeon/Inferno to the council? There will be no representative of those two factions at the table.

"Spymaster" will also tell stories of Stronghold and Sylvan and these two factions have their representatives at Ivan's table.
Besiedes:
Quote: If Ivan is to succeed, he should also be aware of the powers lurking in the deepest abysses of our world. Not to enlist them to fight at his side, of course.
Ivan simply won't accept "help" from Dark Elves or Demons to win this Civil War. After all Dark Elves could tell you, what is the price of deal with Kha-Beleth, especially Raelag and his Soulscar Clan.

I really hope we get "good" stuff this week. I mean, stuff unrelated to the current vote as well as supplemental voting material. Maybe an Academy counterpart to the Armies of Light previews, or some hints as to the content of Necropolis and Stronghold. Just saying, I'm already kinda bored with the Dungeon/Inferno vote... I can't even muster enough interest to play up the "Vote Pit Lords - Vote Inferno" angle. That's pretty much all the vote seems to boil down to: it's not about "Dungeon" or "Inferno", it's "Black Dragons" vs "Pit Lords". Maybe some new material for the vote will turn thing around, but I doubt it.

That's why a wrote "spymaster" in quotation marks.
Besides, do you remember Raelag's "advisor" in H5? Or "Saint" Isabel? Or "Raelag" in H6 Vein's campaign intro (not to mention that person was doing this trick again in Heroes Online)?

did we have a female main hero for Inferno before? If they'll throw their female main hero quota on factions I don't care about like Inferno then I might vote for Inferno.
That way, it'll have a higher chance taking the quotas far away from my favorite factions: Sylvan and Academy.
Right now, I'm leaning towards Dungeon but I don't care about Dungeon either.

We had Jezebeth in one of H5 maps (Falcon's Last Flight to be exactly) but otherwise females were always advisers to main heroes: Biara in H5, Xana in Dark Messiah, Jezebeth (again) in Clash of Heroes, Xana/Sarah in H6.

dungeon in ashan is based on a matriarchal society. which means women are mostly in charge. a female lead hero is definetely on the way. inferno on the other hand has only one female unit. the succubus.

I would expect Tales of the Ten Years War, part 4 this week, along with Dungeon and/or Inferno additional information. That makes 3 blog updates...I also hope they reveal a bit more this week

(Mother) Breeders are female as well. And as for other demons, it's very hard to tell their gender, if they even have one. (Though if they don't then that would apply to Breeders as well I suppose)

demons in general yes. the inferno line up after all those years had only the succubi to show for some boobies. mother breeder is not humanoid though. it doesn't count. it's more like a beast that only gives birth.
