Besides, the few purple highlights in the Skellie and the Spider don't mean that Necro "is purple" now. If anyhting, those few highlights accentuate, IMO, the monochrome-ness. They are mostly grey, white and black.

Hey, this actually looks pretty good.  Marzhin had me a bit worried yesterday, but the core line-up looks really solid.
Now I hope that, if we can't have skeletal Liches, we can at least get mummified ones. This way it would still be lore friendly and would probably look much better than their Heroes 6 counterparts.

i like it. make the spider less... bulky (at least those ridiculous
legs), remove those helmet/shoulder/back spikes from the skellies and i'd say it's a damn good core lineup. skeleton is still way to ornate to b used as a classic skeleton. I miss the individually useless yet extremely numerous skeletons 
also, is it just me or does that "spider" only have six legs or do they think those "arms" count for legs? that's a pretty big mistake...

Those "arms" are another pair of legs, so everything in terms of anatomy is OK with spiders.

Let's play a game of spoil sport.
So we have a purple influence on H7 necro.. well there is one branche of necromancers that likes the shades of purple.. NETHERMANCERS... so, could the game's necro campaign be focused on the story of a renegade necromancer? But which one?
Markal... not born yet.
Ariana... most likely a dragon knight now.
Lucretia... would be interesting
Sandro... oh come on. will you feed us this pie again.. on the other hand he is the best villian in the series.

Holy snow, the reveal? Already?! Freaking finally, I was losing my mind here! Apart from the... puns...... this was pretty good. I had grimmer thoughts about it but I'm glad that at least core turned out okay-ish.
Skelly looks acceptable, but the gems are bad. Please remove them or at least their glow, it's a goddamn core creature, no need for fancy stuff.
Ghost is good. Incorporeal, that's how they should look.
I actually like the Spider since I've grown to appreciate them with DoC. I expect some poison/web abilities, and shooting.
All in all, good. Definitely an improvement from Heroes 6.

I see that someone also likes IFLS. Speaking about paranoia - work with fandom and pandering their tastes aren't easy tasks. However, I am surprised with amount of positive comments on the official site. There is still some hope!
