It's pretty evident that the one who thought of this clearly has a fetish for spiders...
I mean, i can understand putting the spider on top of your flag, on your heraldry, on your shields...
I can understand putting spider legs on the back of liches...
I can understand putting spiders in the line-up...
I can understand a spider cult...
But spider legs on the city?
I know the game isn't supposed to be realistic and plausible but spider legs on a city are a terrible idea.
I bet Heroes VIII's presentation of necropolis will go like this: Here's necropolis, it is the city of spider-worshippers who happen to be undead, they worship the spider aspect of a dragon, here is the hero who rides on a spider, see the spider shaped hilt of his sword, and look at his spider shield.
Here is the army, skeletons armed with spiders as clubs and armored in spider skin, then we have ghosts of spiders who happen to be female and have spiders as hair, then we have spiders who happen to be spiders and are venomous.
Their upper units are liches, or more commonly called spider Fester, they have a spider mask, spider legs on their back and a sceptre with a spider on it, vampires, the evolution of liches, armored in black steel armor with spider appendages and wielding a 9-blade claymore, the central blade is longer and originates the 8 curved blades, and then we have lamassu, which are meant to be a mix of a lion, a human, a bull and an eagle, but we thought it was boring so we made it a human with spider legs and wings made of spider legs.
And for our champions we have the humongous cave spider, fearsome for his 8 legs each terminating in spiders and the majestic dread reaper, armed with a scythe and riding a black steed.
Here is the city of the Necromancers Spider Worshippers a giant marble spider with buildings on top of it, now if you'll excuse i'll go tend to my pet spidey....
(Sorry for that, I had to vent my frustration at the recent events, also, I didn't get the chance when they started this in Heroes VI)

I just saw the Necropolis town screen and - to be honest - I like it. Sure, it does not seem like a town. And it could use some other colours... but I really like it. In my opinion, it is much better than both Haven and Academy... and I love the spider-leggish rock cliffs. And moon and lightning. And... almost everything. Good job, Ubisoft!

Not to hurt any feelings here, but I have to say that this drama queen attitude of all these Necro fanboys is really starting to piss me off. It's like listening to a gaggle of drag queens tattling away at a hairdesser's.
I mean, you know what I mean, right?

I don't know you. But if you are older than 5 years and have IQ at least 90, you will understand, that YOUR opinion is just YOUR opinion and there may not be anybody else in the entire galaxy who shares it. In that case, please respect others view and do not laugh at them.
Otherwise, do as you please, there is no point arguing with people who do not understand how to argue.
