According to Luna's dialogue in MMX, she is a vampire. But well becoming a lich or a vampire isn't only limited to human necromancers.
Necro heroes can both be liches and vampires. Its just the game units that use vamps as melee fighters and liches as casters.

Really, the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw those two heroes was this..
But I did a very straining effort to look on the bright side. So, I went out of my office and stared directly into the sun. It seemed to work. It burned away that first image etched in my retina.
Now, everything looks fine.
Looks pitch black fine.

Also, as you see, the armor isn't penis-shaped, is more like a bauble. Why would you put that 'delimitation' between the breasts is the question. A medieval breastplate is loose enough to allow boobs to be comfortable without needing of additional features.
I know that boob-plate is insanely used in video games(yes, H3 did it too), but uni-sex armor is cooler

Hi!
I think the necro might heroes look decent enough. They are somewhat overdesigned with spikes and unpractical armour, but its surprisingly well under control. I would have expected it to be more overboard.
And keeping it in mind that the ones pictured in the article were might offensive heroes. So im brave enough to believe the other might (magic heroes even more so) will be more tamed... but anyways, i accept the current design. Its probably easier for me to do so because necro is not one of my favorite factions. I never play them. Or infreno. But i like to have them in the game so i can use them as opponents and beat them up

They are kinda nice i suppose... as long as they are not the venomous kind. Pretty slow but what can you expect... But they do have very powerful mouths and strong teeth  They can crush rock with them and mine holes and tiny caves that they use as homes afterwards

Silliness aside no one can top Queen Catherine boobplate. At least these ones have normal* armor
*Ashan normal which isnt very practical.
However i understand the reasons the females wear literal breastplates. It's either showing the face, making the boobs noticeable or making the hips noticeable. Otherwise they wouldnt be readable as female. This post about Kerrigan by one of the Blizz artists explains it well
