nah you've got me wrong dude, nobody is questioning Specter of Power,
I'm talking about Birth of a Barbarian and New Beginning where they really don't belong there in the timeline lol
there is also the map in Heroes 4 where Gauldoth says everyone thinks the Kreegans are extinct, he goes to the Fiery Realm where they fled and brings them to Axeoth, but this is like way after Emilia's campaign where I saw plenty of devils and Kreegan heroes
just a few examples of how we can nitpick all of the games lol

In games like ME, I read them all. In Heroes games, they draw my attention as much as a fly draws my attention.
While dead.
Under my bed.
Hidden by a layer of 5 cm of dust.
And a potato.

Actually, I always read all the biographies and it pays pretty well - when I did not yet play any of Heroes VI expansions, I thought that Ashan's Sandro was going to be as uninteresting as his Enroth counterpart - some evil lich that seeks to conquer the world, yaaaaay... 
Needless to say, I became a bit more fascinated with him when I read his biography on the wiki - I was surprised at how much of an answer-, and later, freedom-seeking visionary he was, rather than some cliché conqueror.

Whoever is responsible for the atrocious Ashanification of our beloved heroes from Heroes III kind of did the same thing with me. Btw, did anyone else noticed Tyris has a strabism?

Ashanification is one thing. I enjoyed both old and new Crag and Sandro. They at least don't say "screw you, our version is 100 times better".
But saying that H3 Sandro is uninteresting... intolerable. For me, ofc.

the Sandro of Ashan is a lot closer to Sandro of Enroth as he acts in Might and Magic 8 than Heroes
he's pretty much a poor man's version of Gauldoth IMO lol
