It said in the video, provided the english subtitles are correct, that this is only rumoured.

But I agree, even though it looks more like a Sphinx than a Gargoyle, it does look really good and I like that they've changed it.

Thanks I know that RMZ, I am just reminding (I do keep up to date on all this news!)....it does look pretty cool....
And this has been said before but I find it the best, most important vibe on H7:
1. The concept of a skill system is taken from the 5th Heroes.
2. 7 resources.
3. Developers want to make dynamic fights, and for this purpose the quantity of various abilities of the creatures will be reduced, so units were directly involved in carrying out attacks more.

As I said, it was shown in the Compendium.
It's never been made clear if this particular artwork was part of the conceptart for the alledged HeroesVI Academy, which was scrapped in pre-alpha, or if this was specifically made for the Compendium.
Nonetheless, I like it better than the artwork we've seen for HeroesVII, due to the compendium artwork being more Chimaeric looking.

these gargoyles are not intimidating enough. Make it more ripped. Add more muscle. Make them look meaner. I hate it when they sacrifice quality just to add more women.

Isn't Haven the main antagonist (protagonist too ) of Heroes VII?
That's another that irks me. Haven for the past three games (why stop there? Catherine, Roland, and whoever was the H1 unifier) was advertised as the primary heroes, at least in the vanilla versions. Are they really the most effective image to encapsulate the "protagonist image"? Lol I feel like this is one of the few heroes " traditions" that could be altered a bit in the vanilla versions.
Okay, so maybe Sveltana is an exception with that amazing promotional art waaay back when, but even in the launch trailer, Anton got the screen time.
And yes, I am fully aware of how V can be easily contested as having Zehir as the protagonist. He brought the heroes together, but the story still revolved around Isabel and her devil spawn.
And yes, I would vote for the dark elves over demons. I'd love to have both, but this is the vanilla version! Dungeon needs a representative muahahahah.
Even if we are promised an interesting twist to the demon story line, it'd still be hard for me to vote for them over the dark elves.

I think those artists are in urgent need of sex.
It looks like Demona in the animated series of Gargoyles with an elongated neck and a rocky head and robot looking face.
Or, these guys are terrified of women. Do know that sexy women can get dangerous when they get pissed off but, not to that point.
