Actually she is described as THE Maeve, last falcon emperess. One of the reassons she is in the game is the scenario where you play to destroy Falcons reach. I think Nival just left here there as a tavern hero.

Well, it's not like once we had a Queen Elizabeth or King Henry, no one was ever able to name their kids Elizabeth/Henry ever again, right?

Stefan of Wolf - maybe his full name is Staphan Winter of Wolf Duchy?
"This assembly of Angels, priests and scholars, led by the beloved Archangel and war hero Sandalphon..."
Oh, great, another moron archangel, who can't see truth beyond end of his nose:
Duel of Champion said: We followed the Orcs' trail which led us to the edge of the Deep Mountains. At the end of a narrow pass Griffin banners rose once again before
Sandalphon: Turn back! This territory is under the control of the Holy Empire!
Kieran: We are Windswords! Emissaries of the Wolf Duchy!
Sandalphon: Rubbish! You are bounty hunters. Vulgar ruffians!
Kieran: Soldiers! Break through their lines! Push forth! Do not stop! We just have to break through!
Ga'arend: Chief, that was a dangerous gamble. Our show of force could well have backfired...
Sayuri: That cursed Archangel got only what he deserved. I despise the hypocrisy and arrogance of the servants of Elrath...
The Griffins were unable to follow us. A violent sandstorm, as sudden as it was unexpected, rose up behind us.
Ga'arand: Father Sky was by our sides today.
Myranda: Father Sky? You mean my magic! Controlling sandstorms is one of the most useful spells we are taught in the Seven Cities.
(...)
Blind Brother: Windswords, the time for studying has passed. The Griffins are at the gates of the Monastery. If you wish to continue your voyage, we must meet them in battle.
Sandalphon: Mercenaries, we meet again! This time you will not escape! Tomorrow's dawn will see your crucified bodies greeting the sunrise!
"The other Dukes were not so eager to join in Seamus and Amílcar's accusations, but they demanded that Ivan revealed how he knew where Jezebeth was hiding, to put this matter to rest once and for all. Stubborn and proud Ivan refused to explain himself. To you, my fellow shadow councillors, I can reveal he had learnt about Jezebeth from a trusted informant, and being a man of honour he simply would not betray his source."
Why I have a feeling Ivan couldn't tell that his graet-great-great... uncle Kiril told him about Jezebeth?
Yeah I think its pretty clear its Kiril well that's what I think. I personally think these story entries are great! I hope they keep the same story tone in the game itself.

I just realize something:
Quote: It was a brilliant move: Murazel was a figure of legend, known to favour Humans over her fellow Angels. She had helped the Free Cities of the East on numerous occasions, sometimes against the Empire, and her own kind considered her a renegade. If there was an Angel who would never compromise her ethics for personal gain or politics, it was Murazel.
Murazel accepted Sandalphon’s offer, and departed Hammer Fall for Flammschrein, putting an end to six centuries of exile.
(...)
Three days later, the bells of Flammschrein started ringing, but their song was dreary and doleful. It was a death-knell. Sandalphon was dead; a dark blade had been plunged into his heart. Murazel was nowhere to be found.
Maybe I am a little paranoid but why I have (another) feeling that it wasn't Murazel who came to Flammschrein? That she was replaced by certain skeletal character with Mask of False Face?

Is there some kind of link to the source? Also, does these untold stories contain information about places like Tower of Oblivion or Helexia Monastery?

You might be right or it was really Murazel herself who came but later on she was killed and replaced by him or just chained.
Cause i think that Angel from trailer is Murazel herself so she can't die.

If the angel on the council is Murazel, then she wasn't in Flammschrein...so Avonu theory looks more plausible

The Angel on the council is supposed to be a representative of The Holy Church of Elrath. So her being an Angel that publicly broke with the Empire and the Church seems very, very unlikely.

After wanting nothing to do with them for 600 years and actively siding against the Empire and the Church in favor of the Free Cities on numerous occasions. A Civil War within the Empire over succesion rights changes her mind. I find that very unlikely.

I think this angel is still Murazel and not trying to trick us here.
I don't think there is anything sinister here involving Sandro/deception.
Sandalphon died by a dark blade. Murazel was nowhere to be found.
Maybe two separate events.
They are trying to make us think something of Murazel having vanished! snowos!

Plot twist
It actually was Murazel who came to Flamshrien and killed Sandalphone. When she came she founf out that one of the young man who came to the city turlly was Brendan, but decided not to tell, and rather had him imprisoned.
When the time was right, she freed Brendan and wanted him to come with her, but Sandalphone confronted her, which lead to a conflict and Sandalphones death. Where did she took him? Maybe the Dragon knights?
