Did you take part in the beta testing? And if you did, how do you feel about the game at the moment? (im 99% sure i can guess it, but still...)

I just figured with all the recycling they would at least give us two tiers. that dryad concept art looks really familiar to some h6 unit...I can't put my finger on it though.

Maybe i'm just confusing myself with all the different naked [insert element] ladies that become fighting units. The dyrad's stance just looks familiar.

Not sure if it's inactivity, or just really busy with something else behind the scenes (and out of game). That being said, he did make a reply a couple of days ago with regards to forum slowness, asking whether it was still occuring.
Anyway, as for the Pixies/Sprites, I think they're too big. A missed opportunity for a multi-creature. Just image having a stack in which 3-5 Pixies/Sprites were shown, dancing and darting around eachother in the stacks' idle animation. Since they're flying, you could even have attacks in formation flight . A lucky strike could be shown as a whirlwind flurry around the victim.
But no, it's one big creature instead. Pity.

With the current size ratios, in your idea each creature would be 1 pixel big, no thank you lol
I do agree that the idea would work very nicely with better size representation though.

The Dryad is actually a range unit I think but I think it's to similar to the Spring Spirit in H6 and other generic spirit creatures.

Yea, and I thought we were done with those. H6 was an overkill in this regard.

no worries, I didn't mean you blamed him, just clarifying lol
I didn't play it, two people here kindly offered me their extra key but I said no thanks, because I didn't think I would enjoy it based on what was revealed already, and I disagree with Ubi's practice of turning over their QA responsibilities to customers who are paying their wages lol
I have been watching streams of it on Youtube and Twitch though, and it looks about as broken, ponderous and mentally unchallenging as Heroes 6 did, and the low budget really shows, I guess the best thing I can say is that the series could only go up from here lol

Leaf Daggers were the Druid's range attack, no? The guy who revealed the data extracts mentioned it was Druid's skill only, not Dryad.
As far as I know, Dryad is not confirmed to be ranged. So I stand by my previous assessment that she will be an off-tank support until she's confirmed to be otherwise.
EDIT: Foxxxer's post @ Page 853. Take a look. Although it goes without saying that none of those abilities might make the final version.

what would the point of entangling enemies be if the treant just stays in the back?
no, i think it'll be a melee creature (we already have too many shooting champs if you ask me)

Yeah i know what you mean... with all the bugs and general appearance of the game at this point, i also had some serious H6 flashbacks... didnt enjoy any of them
All we can do now is wait and hope... or wait and lol
