It amazes me how much anatomical/perspective issues some of the art has. Especially some the hero portraits :/ Not saying im an expert on the subject in any way, but there are some pretty basic structural mistakes that can be found in the faces :/

lol now that you said it, i can see it too... i was getting a Britney Spears kinda vibe from her while painting, but who knows for sure

whatever. good job.
She doesnt need to be angry all the time. Most of the time shes actually pretty nice, making her spells, mixing herbs and potions in her cauldron
In the picture she actually reaching for the door knob with determination in her eyes to go out to meet the deers, does and other forest weirdos at the annual summer festival. Hence the lipstick, smokey eyes, excessive jewelry and the white dress

Thank you. But the original artist did most of the job. As I said, I didn't do much beside simple recolouring by changing the hue.

Not overdone,but very detailed and that's a good thing.
The fact that it's not a male druid is one of the few good things I can say about it. HoMM has always had a fair amount of female creatures as well as heroines (and not in plate or leather bikinis), and it was one of those things that separated the game from the mainstream generic bunch. And the original Nature/Fairy town was originally clearly a female-dominated town.
However, the druid part still bothers me. Another generic fantasy term introduced to the genre for no good reason. It's sorceress if anything, for Murate's sake.

I don't mind having Bambi as a creature. First of all, it means less elves, which is a good thing for originality - having more animal creatures would for once be something faithful to the heritage of this town. Secondly, I think we can all agree it suits the theme of the new lore perfectly:

aaaaaand that's my contribution for the blade dancer since his smile( i really can't believe what i'm typing here) bothers people, because they are going to be watching that smirk every time the blade dancer attacks (if we can actually zoom on the units..)
and don't give me the "ooh he is going to look like that in the portrait" thing because it really is extremely weird that someone can be so annoyed so much by smth like this while playing.

Definitely think the Blade Dancer looks better with the mask on - I'd prefer one that looked good without the mask, but the mask version is still much better than the current official artwork.
The Druid most definitely also looks better without the spider-cult eyes. I don't know who it is in the game design department who has the idea that glowing eyes makes everything look cool, but someone should really take this person out of his delusion.

I really think someone was bored while doing the eyes and went "snow it,imma do the eyes with the big brush! yolo!"
I don't think it was a conscious decision.
