If you mean physically, he does.... Because blood elves look like the typical Tolkien elf. If you mean it clothes-wise, generally the blood elves are dressed head totoe in read and gold for starters. And the "Forest Elf" schtick in WC is played by the Night Elves (and the Dark Elves are ironically the High/Blood Elves or the Naga)

I was not in the slightest personal, I was just stating fact. The blood elf archetype has long blond hair, very long and pointy eyebrows and ears, green eyes, red attire with golden frame, and they revolve around their obsession with magical energies. Just a very quick google image search would give that away. The ONLY thing that the compendium artwork has in common with the blood elf is the blonde hair and that's it. Even the hairstyle is not the same from what a blood elf would have. Everything else is different.

I see you guys reposting the old bladedancer concept again and again but I guess I am missing the point here ? I dont see anything special about it, its just an elf with two blades just like the one we got. Sure, it has great body  but what else ? The only thing I like is the face cover, maybe they could use it on the current model to avoid those discussion about them being rapist ? i already saw some of you photoshoped it and it looked awesome, I approve

So I went to my psychologist and she said that everything is fine with my head because I showed her the picture of blade dancer and she was frightened and told me to call authorities because he clearly is a rapist lol

I think his point was that people see what they want to see, not what is actually there. Though, he might have had some other idea behind his sentence.

My problem is that people instead seeing proportion issues with legs and body make big issue out of nothing.
For me it looks like you people have some traumatic experiences if you see that kind of face.

Well, it makes it unsettling to see someone with that face, especially when its icon is zoomed in when recruiting or in battles.

To play the devils Advocate here.
The whole idea of the lineup facial expressions is to show that the units are in war, ready and assertive of their abilities.
Specifically for the blade dancer, i believe the idea was along the lines "Finally i'm going to fight and show my skills. I am not afraid of you, not will i show mercy, you will fall by my blades. I know my stuff!"
But that smirk of "prowess" turned out a bit weird and strange mainly because the general lines of the artwork and the scale seems somewhat off...

Well, you see, I have also problem with very big legs compared to the rest of his body and I have even edited the picture to do something about it, here is the result:

What we need is more blandness. More blandness I say.
At least creepy uncle elf prancer has a bit more personality to it than some random aerobics instructor.
I'm sure this won't translate over to the 3D model however.

As some of you may know, I did not participate in the beta. Because of that, Ubiosft asked me to fill in some survey regarding the game in genaral. One of the last questions that were asked was: "What I would like to be added in DLCs/expansion packs?" Among some obvious options, like new artifacts, factions, campaigns, etc., there was one that was particularly interesting, meaning "addition of new units to factions." It seems that M&M team starts to embrace the idea of expanded lineups, what gives hope for comeback of such units as Unicorns and Manticores. 
PS. No screenshot, sorry. I forgot to take it yesterday.

Not certain where you got that. At any rate, it is at least wise of them to do that... EVEN if it is added as a DLC...
