Well, it doesn't end as spectacular and climactic as, say, the Fortress theme of H3, or the Dungeon one for that matter, but they share similarities. The H3 ones build up to this spectacle, and gradually fade away, more or less at the end. H6's Dungeon theme has its moment somewhere in the middle, with a buildup and a longer...builddown?
I don't know if you have seen the TS in all its purple glory, but you may not like that either . Heroes music is seldom 'bad' imo, only H4 had a number of questionable tracks (again imo) that make me like them less or not at all. This Dungeon theme works for me, as does the one in H3. And 5.

A few of the H6 tracks seemed to have this set up which to be honest was not my favorite.

Funnily enough, I still think of the H3 theme when it comes to Dungeon because I recall hearing a variation of the theme as BGM throughout Shades of Darkness.

Shades had some lovely remixes. H2 snow, H3 inferno and H3 rampart were really good.

I used to think this too but they've just grown on me over the years. Now I think that game's got the best soundtrack overall and like 2nd or 3rd for best tow screen music. Grassland theme is pefect

I think the soundtrack for H4 shines as a beacon, even though the game isn't that great, or at least for me...

I think that the terrain themes beat those of the towns. Snow, Volcanic Terrain, Water and Dirt (along with the 'Mountain Song') are among the ones I really like. Two of the questionable tracks imo are those of the Haven and Nature towns. Asylum is also not really high on my fav ladder. The themes of Academy, Stronghold and Infernopolis on the other hand are much to my liking  .
