I read there was an accusation of cheating as well but how did it get resolved?
Did not matter since Sylvan was pretty much double the percentage of fortress. It was like 62-65% to 34% they had no chance.
It does matter, if Ubisoft can't guarantee that the polls are cheat-free there's no point in voting :/
Yeah but I highly suspect that they are watching the polls considering that Marzhin is hanging around and reading the forums most of the time. These days its not difficult to remove multi-account votes.
edit:Marzhin even said the team handling the website stuff is watching the polls for suspicious activity so relax. This was in the main topic at the top of the forums.

I'm not sure if you guys know, but I do update work on percentages in the Shadow Council thread. I pay careful attention to how the votes change.
What I witnessed after the post of Creatures of Irollan part 2. is that because of the Blade Dancers and Unicorns, people from Balance changed their votes to Fury and Strength. I didn't find it awkward for that to happen.
Even mathematically, the chances of someone to switch the percentages in such a way that resembles that is practically impossible. I will probably take my time and show you that, because this cheating propaganda is nothing more than a means to sway votes and it does more harm than that because it compromises the credibility of the poll. Small-scale cheating, when someone has 5 accounts and votes is possible. Large scale cheating, in terms of changing actual percentages, is practically impossible.

While it is very likely that there has been cheating going on, keep in mind that it is not just on Fury's side, there have also been people with account names like 'FurySucks' telling people to vote for Balance (I have not seen them myself though as I try to stay away from that comment section, but people have reported these before). As Stevie said it is unlikely that these people will affect the percentages, but we can never know this for sure until we get an official statement from Ubisoft.

Yes, you are right. I will definitely stop reading that comment section, otherwise I'll never ever think about multiplaying this game...

This was my first pool, but if this cheating was already going... Why people started to complain about this just now?
What about the dwarves? I hope people are truly wanting an honest pool, even when their preference is losing...

I am going to say this plainly its because fury is winning and they did not "expect" it to win. Since many on this forum consider it not "true" to the series so to speak. This is just my observation its might not be true but its what I think.
It seems many people outside of the forum disagree with that fact and decided to vote fury. I think its mainly the 10% during the first few days that caused people to start throwing around the "cheating" accusation. Plus in recent days the picture of the blade dancer and the details of the phoenix that are throwing strength and balance into disarray for various reasons on the ubisoft website.
If there was cheating it would of been corrected ages ago since Marzhin said the team IS watching the polls for any strange activity.

The outcome of recent drawings makes me really happy. Finally strength is getting deserved attention. I am aware that it won't probably with Fury (although I have nothing against it) but I hope for at least second place and those wishes might be fulfilled.

Still growing at least for one point though. I would find it quite exciting to see Strength be even more competitive tomorrow as it would demand tremendous amount of unity. After all there was 20% difference between not long ago.

I would find it quite epic if Strenght wins the poll !!!
Fury should be about max capacity now, they can't gain 9 more % out of nowhere during last two days, about everybody should have voted now, some more than once for sure. No it would be way too suspicious, imo.

Haha, I was just thinking it shows up here sooner or later. I believe people could all start fighting about it again, about 8% for Strength, about Fury jumping between 39-41% even though votes would come from Balance switchers, about Balance going down too quickly etc. If Ubisoft/Limibic won't speak out(not in all-around way that they are "looking at it") that shouldn't be something to divided community as we can do nothing about it.

Yeah man, what saddens me is to see all this selfishness going on here.
After more than 10 years following HeroesCommunity, I not sure if the intend of the community is to represent the interest of all Heroes' fans or just its own interest.
What happens in Ubi forums I really don't care, but HERE?! Where most of people are very smart, polite and mature. It's totally weird.

This is something that I really need to get off my chest.
Do people really think that fury and strength are really different?
I would be happy with ether one, and I am not just saying that as propaganda. I genuinely feel that way.
