i actually think snakes (especially "root-snakes") are a perfect mythological archetype to incorporate into a faction based upon nature.

They are?

ive definitely come away from all my years of mythological studies with the perception that ancient man all over the globe revered snakes as archetypes of the lower, more primal, rhythmic, earthen, volatile, regenerative, reproductive side of life..

"the prototype of Hermes was an "Oriental deity of Babylonian extraction" represented in his earliest form as a snake god. From this perspective, the caduceus was originally representative of Hermes himself, in his early form as the Underworld god Ningishzida, "messenger" of the "Earth Mother"."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caduceus#Ancient_Near_East

"In the East, the symbol of the two serpents twisting on the rod corresponds to the two currents Pingala and Ida which coil around the Merudanda: the first is red, hot and dry, likened to the Sun and the Alchemic Sulphur; the second, Ida, is cold and wet, like the Alchemic Mercury and is correlated with the Moon for its silver pallor."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadi_%28yoga%29

"The significance of the serpent has been interpreted in many ways; sometimes the shedding of skin and renewal is emphasized as symbolizing rejuvenation,[7] while other assessments center on the serpent as a symbol that unites and expresses the dual nature of the work of the physician, who deals with life and death, sickness and health.[8] The ambiguity of the serpent as a symbol, and the contradictions it is thought to represent, reflect the ambiguity of the use of drugs,[9] which can help or harm, as reflected in the meaning of the term pharmakon, which meant "drug", "medicine" and "poison" in ancient Greek.[10] Products deriving from the bodies of snakes were known to have medicinal properties in ancient times, and in ancient Greece, at least some were aware that snake venom that might be fatal if it entered the bloodstream could often be imbibed."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_of_Asclepius#Greek_mythology_and_Greek_society

...in opposition to the upper, more procreative, consistent, sensual, airy, forceful, flowering symbolism of [wings, birds, angels, light, and souls].

"Sushumna runs along the spinal cord in the center, through the seven chakras – Mooladhaar at the base, and Sahasrar at the top (or crown) of the head. It is at the base of this sushumna where the Kundalini (snake) lies coiled in three and a half coils, in a dormant or sleeping state."

We don't know yet. They will show us the winner tomorrow, since they have noticed a lot of votes/multiple accounts from same IPs and people are talking about cheating so we will see.

My guess is that Fury will still come out as winner.

Since it's hard to tell when they use shenanigans, who knows?
As far as favour goes, Marzhin at least has said he supported Strength. Take that as you will.

I don't wanna believe in any shenanigans but I'm not comfortable trusting blindly either. At least we had an indication with the vote results being show in real time but now with that out too there is no transparency left.

the extremely bland artwork of the phoenix, its poor description, the already used artwork for the unicorn, the strike and return walking elf(dungeon calling) and the AWESOME (although not-needed) artwork of the blade dancer really made me extremely suspicious that they pushed fury. but that's me overthinking. i am going crazy aren't i?

Given from someone who thinks just about any conspiracy theory is bullhonkey and is likely to defect to Freemasons/Iluminati/American Government/Etc. the first chance he gets. So take that as you will.

As for time, no. Just that it is 30th September 2014. Somewhere between 00:00 and 24:00, Paris time most likely.

My apologies for the late reply, I somehow missed that. Yes I know that snakes have been used as much as a symbol for evil as much as a symbol of healing, I'm Greek after all What drew my attention more was the [root snakes especially] part. At any rate that was a good read
