That is genuinely surprising. I guess we'll have to accept that we'll never know 100 % for sure how votes would have turned out if adequate measures had been taken in the first place.

You know I mentioned that this poll should be used as a lesson and this post is the reason why I said it.
Just because something is most voted here does not mean it will reflect what happens outside of the forum. That is something many posters here have to start to understand.
Honestly most people on the website and ubisoft forums don't even know this forum exists.

your math must be really bad or you think that 60 actual persons voting are the majority of the heroes players that voted to the official poll.

That is not the whole truth. I voted for Strength here but later changed my preference for Fury, so my vote stands wrong here. And I know I'm not the only one for whom that happened.

Exactly, I'm also pretty sure a lot of people who voted didn't know Heroes of might and magic existed before H7 was announced.

I would disagree with that fact as well what is so hard to accept that people have a different opinion than you? No option is more "right" than the other.
You have to create crazy justifications to rationalize why your option did not win just accept the fact that people feel differently than you about a said series.

you only assume that most votes are from people new to the game and you somehow imply that new players to the game have the worst opinion. i am an old player from H2 but i don't act like my opinion is gold. again enjoy sylvan.

Just as much as you can assume they are not. I never said they have the worst opinion it's just different than mine and from what it seems most other fans of the series. I don't like it and am naturally disappointed with the outcome.
I won't play Sylvan besides the campaigns, because I don't enjoy their line-up. I hope you do.

Yeah, that's why I edited my post since I am done talking since I personally don't want to get personal since I have a thing against people who talk like that.

Well what do you know? We Fury supporters might not actually be evil incarnate after all, or so I derived from the duplicate vote counts.
That said I ended up voting for strength, but still I was happy with ether ^_^
